The Word of God tells us to be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might, and then describes exactly how. However, due to the fact that the LORD God never interferes with the free-will of mankind whose spirit was initially created in God’s image but, due to the first Adam’s use of free-will to disobey God that ushered sin into the earth and made Satan the prince of this world, our spirit required re-creation or regeneration or rebirth by the redemptive work of His only begotten Son; Who walked in perfect obedience to the will of His Father by faith, even unto death in sowing the seed of Himself – His own spotless lifeblood that redeemed – bought and brought more sons & daughters to God. Yet whose soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) still requires ongoing or continual renewal in the Word of God by revelation of the Holy Spirit. The advisement of Ephesians 6:10 to be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might is a clear indication that we do nothing in our own power but by God’s power in and through us.

So, until the Second Coming of Christ, sin rains but those rendered sons & daughters of God by the blood of Jesus are under an umbrella (so to speak). Therefore, adherence to God’s advice with revelatory knowledge via comprehension and application of His Word by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit, enables the ability to reign regardless of the rain. Faith is the servant by which those reconciled unto the Family of God manifest the promises of God on this side of Heaven by the power of God within and through each of us. The Blessing of Abraham (material) and the fullness thereof by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus (material and authority) is for the benefit of self and others, neighborhood and workplace, country and world. All bestowed the Lord Jesus, so too have those “in Him” by faith: “power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessingRevelation 5:12 (KJV)
