Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

The various Names of God reveal the various aspects of God. Jehovah Rophe denotes that aspect of His character; that He is the LORD Our Healer (see Exodus 15:26c). Dis-ease is anything that renders the body not to be at ease, likewise a dis-order bespeaks a condition of the body which is out of order. But God sent His Only Begotten Son – JESUS the Living Word who took every malady upon Himself.

You are the LORD that healeth me. You are the LORD my healer. You sent Your WORD and healed my disease. You are the LORD my healer.

As it is written, we are God’s workmanship “. . . created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in themEphesians 2:10 (KJV); and good works require good health. Therefore, healing and good health are one of the rights and privileges bestowed sons and daughters of God by the blood of Jesus. When Jesus defeated the enemy of God at the cross, so too were the things of the enemy defeated which included sickness, poverty, and spiritual death. Our Lord Jesus suffered so that we might (free-will) exercise our right to abundant life which necessarily includes health, wealth, and eternal life. Sickness is an imposter which just like poverty must be forbidden to operate in our lives and household (as well as the lives and households of family members) in the Name of Jesus; resist it, speak to it and cast it out in Jesus’ Name. Forfeit nothing that our Lord Jesus sacrificed His sinless light that we might have; don’t tolerate the work of the enemy who doesn’t play fair. Fact is, the enemy of God doesn’t come to play, he means to keep as many from doing good works; the Living Word tells us that the enemy’s purpose is “to steal, and to kill, and to destroyJohn 10:10a (KJV). The power of God resides in each of His sons and daughters; however, the use of that which one has scant knowledge of is (at best) happenstance. In other words, allowing God’s power to flow requires knowing and receiving what God has given before one can manifest the things thereof. It also involves putting a watch-guard over that which is allowed to be spoken over (as there is no obligation to receive a bad report) as well as that which is allowed to proceed out of our own mouth. Using faith has nothing to do with feelings; the senses concentrate on the malady whereas faith comprehends that sickness is an imposter. Therefore, the confession of a faith walker declares: “I am healed by the wounds of Jesus. I don’t care what it feels like right now; I move out of sickness to healing to health because Jesus took my sickness, Jesus took my pain, and I am free.” It takes no more effort to say, “I am healed by the wounds of Jesus” as it does to announce sickness; and it only cost faith-filled or faithful effort because Jesus paid the price at the cross.
