Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ and has consecrated and anointed us [*enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit]2 Corinthians 1:21 (AMP)

All reconciled unto God the Father by the blood of Jesus were sealed with the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:14; Ephesians 1:13-14 & 4:30). As it is written, “ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all1Co 12:7 (NKJV). Therefore, all who believe and confess Jesus (Romans 10:9) receive the Holy Spirit; His ministry is now and doesn’t end until the Second Coming of Christ. Whether those reconciled unto the Father by the Blood have 50% or 100%, the fact is that all have received the Spirit of God (John 14:16-17, 26 & 16:13; Acts 1:8). The fullness of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by speaking in tongues: “a special language given to Christians by the Holy Spirit¹ which didn’t cease with the deaths of the early Apostles.

Therefore, any reconciled unto God the Father by the finished work of Christ Jesus, who desire fullness of the Holy Spirit only need pray/ask the Father in  Jesus’ name. Nevertheless, all in Christ Jesus receive a gift(s) or divine appointment(s) by the Holy Spirit “to fulfill his or her calling and purpose² for the benefit of the Body. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the five-fold ministry gifts of the Lord Jesus are often confused and/or interchanged. Yet, whether one has received the anointing and/or a divine appointment, neither conflict. Further, neither is dependent upon that which the world identifies as an innate ability to articulate nor theatrics nor animation nor charm; for a charlatan may be both articulate and charming. Rather, both the anointing and/or a divine appointment are endowed with quality and/or power.

The five-fold ministry gifts of Jesus the Christ are bestowed those called (having received the anointing) as “11) Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers” for the edification of the church “12) . . . so that the body of Christ may be built up  13) until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of ChristEphesians 4:11-13 (NIV). The church (which is neither edifice/building nor denomination) is the Body of Christ; of which the Lord Jesus is “the universal and supreme HeadEphesians 1:22 (AMP), and we are His Body (1 Corinthians 6:15,19; Ephesians 1:23, 4:25 & 5:30; Colossians 1:24). The gifts of the Holy Spirit include (not limited to): the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, (exponential) faith, gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). All in the Body of Christ have diversity of gifts for the benefit of the whole and all are “equal in Christ—equally loved by God and equally necessary to the Body of Christ.²
