Abraham believed GOD and it was counted to him as righteousness. In comparison, 2000+ years after the First Coming of Christ a significant number “in Him” seem to verbalize experience with GOD in terms of habit rather than relationship. One example of such is habitually blaming GOD for the demonic manipulations of satan. Another example is habitually inviting the Holy Spirit “in” as though He isn’t already within. The first seems to speak to a marginal level of awareness re GOD as Omnipotent as well as His essence – the character of GOD who is LOVE. The second seems to reflect a marginal level of awareness as to the manifest promises of GOD. In other words, a significant number of the Family of GOD by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, declare belief yet habitually speak un-belief. Abraham is the father of faith because he believed GOD and moved or stepped into the promises sight unseen. For the One who is Omniscient knew who He could trust to set faith on a steadfast albeit narrow path. May the measure of faith and its operative power of divine love already gifted to those “in Him” develop exponentially for fullness in the knowledge of the One who is Omnipresent.
