Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

You never saw Him, yet you love Him. You still don’t see Him, yet you trust Him — with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation.1 Peter 1:8-9 (MSG)

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 (KJV)

Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?Hebrews 1:14 (AMP)

(She) shall call upon Me, and I will answer (her); I will be with (her) in trouble, I will deliver (her) and honor (her). With long life will I satisfy (her) and show (her) My salvation.Psalm 91:15-16 (AMP [personalized])

  • salvation
  1. to those who accept God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus, in whom alone it is to be obtained.
  2. to be delivered from the power and/or penalty of sin.
  3. to be redeemed from the curse of sickness, poverty, and spiritual death.
  4. to include the summation of blessings bestowed by God the Father upon those “in Christ”: healing/health, wealth, eternal life, preservation, soundness, protection, peace, wisdom, etc.

As relayed in the amplified version of Hebrews 1:14, Angels of the LORD God are assigned to the elect who “inherit salvation”.

  • inherit
  1. to receive possession as a rightful heir or co-heir (a person to whom something has been assigned).
  2. to be restored the birthright as sons & daughters of God the Father by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus.
  3. to have the Kingdom of God and receive divine direction through the Holy Spirit.
  4. to obtain rewards bestowed of God the Father by Christ Jesus.

God’s angels work for Him on our behalf, yet they only move as we speak in keeping with the Word of God. To believe the LORD God is to speak like Him; and to speak like GOD is to agree with Him. For to agree with the LORD God is evidence of our own faith that GOD keeps His promises. Therefore, the elect who are Ambassadors of Jesus the Christ confess and/or speak God’s Word.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
