Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

13  Jesus replied, ‘If you only knew the gift God has for you and who I am, you would ask Me, and I would give you Living Water.  14 . . . the water I give takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within, giving eternal life. John 4:13-14 (NLT)

Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us because He hath given us of His Spirit.1Jn 4:13 (KJV)

Therefore, I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power and influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever] say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by and under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit.1Co 12:3 (AMP)

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.Jude 20-21 (KJV)

. . . we neither know what we should pray for nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that can’t be expressed in words. And God the Father knows what the Spirit is saying, for He pleads for us in harmony with God’s will.Romans 8:26-27

The Prayer Problem . . .

YAHWEH/JEHOVAH desires that we seek Him via prayer, and the Living Word reiterates over and over that God the Father answers every prayer by faith and in keeping with His will (Mark 11:22,24; Hebrews 11:6; 1Jn 5:14-15). Yet, such necessarily involves knowing what God’s will for the lives of His children/His people is/His sons & daughters by the blood of Jesus as delineated in God’s Word. For “sleight of hand” is not of the LORD God; He desires those reconciled unto Him by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus to have the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). Therefore, to pray which is to ask God the Father (and often repeatedly) for whatsoever is already bestowed or gifted unto each and every person reconciled unto the Family of God by the Blood is to “pray or ask amiss” (James 4:3). The prayer problem is on the end of the person doing the praying or asking. However, the Lord Jesus asked Abba Father, and He sent the Holy Spirit to guide each of us through our re-born life which includes effective prayer . . . never amiss.

The Living Water . . .

When the Lord Jesus completed His earthly Ministry and upon His Ascension, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit began on earth for the benefit of all who are “in Christ”. In other words, all who’ve received salvation – born anew have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit sent to guide, comfort, counsel, teach, and remind each and every re-created spirit of all things YESHUA/JESUS (John 7:37-39 & 14:16-18,26 & 16:13); Spirit to spirit (big S to little s). Still, such necessarily involves that heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17) understand the will and the way of the LORD God as delineated in His Word in order to recognize the promptings of the Holy Spirit as GOD is LOVE (1 John 4:8,16).

  • The Lord Jesus asked God the Father to send the Holy Spirit, Who helps us in prayer regardless of our own lack of strength or shortcomings or flaws (i.e., mental, spiritual, emotional, physical).
  • The Living Water is the person of the Holy Spirit Whose Ministry is now in the earth to Comfort, Counsel, Teach, and remind us of all things Jesus (John 7:37-39 & 14:16,17,26).
  • The Holy Spirit is the personified power of the LORD God within you and I.
  • The Holy Spirit is the indwelling through Whom all “in Christ” are empowered to do the “greater works”.
  • The Holy Spirit helps our speak because the world speaks differently or contrary to how God speaks; early-on we’ve been trained to speak in the way of the world which can change God’s (always) good plan for our lives.
  • The Holy Spirit helps to develop the “measure of faith” (Romans 12:3) bestowed at the onset of salvation via prayer in the Spirit.
  • Prayer in the Spirit allows the Holy Spirit to intercede for us by speaking divine or sacred secrets directly to the LORD God in an unknown language which God understands (and the devil doesn’t).
  • The Holy Spirit is the indwelling wisdom of LORD God.
  • The Holy Spirit raises our prayer(s) to a higher level because He knows our wants better than we do ourselves as the LORD God knows us better than we know ourselves.
  • The Holy Spirit “personally talks to God for us” by prayer in keeping with the plan of God for our lives.
  • The Holy Spirit makes certain (as we allow Him to intercede for us through prayer in the Spirit) that The Blessing of Abraham and the fullness thereof by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus are made manifest to establish God’s covenant on earth.

The manifestation of our covenant blessings is the “reality of redemption”. For the blood of Jesus bought and brought us out of the threefold curse: sickness, poverty, and eternal death. Specific to the promises of God relative to divine healing and health, Isaiah 53:5 affirms that by His wounds we are healed, and 1 Peter 2:24 affirms that by His wounds we were healed (bold emphasis mine). I end my confession of each with: “I’m healed by the stripes of Jesus; God’s power is at work in me and through me by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus.” There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God which requires our comprehension and application as well as our speaking and doing as God has commanded. For God is not a man that He should change (Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; James 1:17); and Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing secured the salvation of all humankind by speaking and doing only as He heard of Abba Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38 & 12:49-50 & 14:10,24b).
