Reading began recently in Isaiah – the Prophet to whom the LORD God relayed, through the Holy Spirit, more about the First Coming of The Messiah – YESHUA/JESUS in the Old Testament which is the New Testament concealed. (Clearly, the Apostle Paul wrote more about Jesus the Christ in the New Testament which is the Old Testament revealed.) Although I relish less than others some aspects of my annual read through, it’s akin to sifting and gold, in the form of revelatory wisdom, manifest. Such usually moves me to either pray in the Spirit, write a Musing/Reflection on the Word of God, or simply say “thank You, LORD” (often it’s all three). This is that in Isaiah:

Those who walk in the dark have seen a bright light. . . .A child has been born for us. We have been given a son who will be our ruler. His names will be Wonderful Advisor and Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace. His power will never end; peace will last forever. He will rule David’s kingdom and make it grow strong. He will always rule with honesty and Justice. The LORD All-Powerful will make certain that all of this is done.Isaiah 9:2,6,7 (CEV)

Isaiah wrote about the leaders and the lying prophets that led the nation down the wrong path, the people confused, evil spreading like a raging fire as they turned against each other like wild animals, attacking even their own relatives, yet still not satisfied, and making wrongful laws . . . yet these will be judged (Isaiah 9:15-18 & 10:1 ). Though it may seem that there is little or no repercussions for strolling with the devil, vengeance and recompense are of JEHOVAH SABAOTH; and these will be judged by The One Who sits on The Throne – JEHOVAH TSIDKENU. In the Old Testament, true prophets were often murdered because they didn’t mince or diminish what the LORD God told them via the Holy Spirit to relay; and in the New Testament, the Living Word Who is the Lord Jesus said He would send prophets and wise men and teachers that would also persecuted (Matthew 23:29-35). Nevertheless,

There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God.1 Timothy 2:5 (CEV)
