Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.Luke 10:19 (NKJV)

All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you . . .Luke 10:20 (MSG)

Faith is trust in God. Faith believes God. Faith believes that what God says is true. Faith is confidence that what God says about you and I is truth. Faith stands firm-footed on what the LORD said/says. Faith is the currency of the people of God. That is, manifesting the things of God in the way of God is by faith. The opposite of faith is fear which is always preceded by doubt – cohorts of the devil, relentless in efforts to fraudulently hold-up, sabotage, misdirect, steal, and destroy that which rightfully belongs to us; yet, we may unwittingly assist with its delay by speaking or behaving contrary to love which is faith’s generator or its operative power. The Lord Jesus defeated Satan at the cross; so too, all who are in Christ Jesus “have overcome (conquered) him by the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony. . .Revelation 12:11 (AMP). We keep the Word of God in our ears, on our eyes, and in our mouth. It is by the power (anointing) of God upon us, in us, and through us that we cast out/throw off.

The same faith by which you and I came confidently into salvation or right-standing by the blood of Jesus, is the same measure of faith by which we are to exercise the sacred ministry-of-authority in the Name above all names (Matthew 28:18; Mark 16:15-18). Those reconciled unto God the Father by the finished work of Christ are commissioned to bind the work of the perpetrator whose only purpose is to “steal, kill, and destroyJohn 10:10a. Therefore, we shouldn’t be surprised about the perpetrator’s activities, unless it’s surprise that we hadn’t thought to bind him from our family, neighborhood, workplace, government, etcetera. Further, holding alt against any manipulated by the perpetrator puts a strain on faith’s generator because “faith worketh by loveGalatians 5:6b (KJV). We have been given both the measure of faith and its operating power – love (Romans 12:3 & 5:5). As it is written, “. . . love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love1 John 4:7-8 (NIV). Love who is God (1Jn 4:16b) will help us with any behavior contrary to love; that His power may flow uninhibited through you and I.

The grace (unmerited favor) of Abba Father, has bestowed many gifts unto us through Christ Jesus whose sinless blood paid it all (Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 8:12). The Blessing of the LORD (Proverbs 10:22) is upon you and I by the finished work of Christ Jesus; we are partakers of the fruit of the Lord Jesus’ labor or work (Psalm 128:2). God the Father sent Jesus/Yeshua who agreed to, and walked in perfect obedience to the will of the Father on our behalf (Hebrews 7:25-28); the mystery of God’s plan from before the beginning of time (Ephesians 1:9 & 3:1-9; Colossians 1:26-27; John 1:1-4; Isaiah 9:2-3; & 11:1-5; John 1:14; 1Ti 3:16: 1Jn 1:1; Hebrews 10:5-7; Psalm 40:6-8). All of this was and will always be just because God so loved/loves us (John 3:15).

The One who is above all gods, El Elyon – God Most High is the same yesterday, today, and forever; He never changes (Hebrews 13:7; 1 Samuel 15:29; Psalm 110:4; Isaiah 40:8; Malachi 3:6; James 1:17). Now, we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ Jesus by the Blood that restored unto us every right and privilege as sons & daughters of God (Hebrews 9:11-15; Galatians 4:4-6). So too now, we may be bold in Christ Jesus and in the confidence (faith) that every time we ask Abba Father, He answers us (Psalm 138:3; Hebrews 5:16; 1Jn 5:14-15). For He who is in us is greater than he that is in the world (1Jn 4:4); and we are strengthened for all things  through Christ Jesus’ anointing which empowers us (Philippians 4:13).

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
