Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.   4)  The man who says ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.   5) But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him.   6) Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.1 John 2:3-6 (NIV)

Jesus the Living Word taught as one having authority, and each of us “in Him” are to walk as one having authority (Mark 1:22; Luke 10:19). When the Lord Jesus said that it gives the Father great happiness to give us the kingdom (Luke 12:32), we may infer that Abba Father withholds nothing; for the Blood restored all rights and privileges to those redeemed, re-created, and reconciled as sons & daughters of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty. As it is written, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Romans 8:39 (MEV). The definition of the word all, is all or without exception; it is by the finished work of Christ Jesus that we received or have already been given everything necessary to establish God’s covenant in the earth (2 Peter 1:3-4; Philippians 4:19; Ephesians 1:3).

Revelation of the information in the WORD by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit renders our effectiveness and productivity as citizens of God’s Kingdom of Light. The purpose of the enemy’s cohorts is to dissuade by fraudulently blocking but the devil and every cohort thereof were defeated when Christ Jesus “disarmed the powers and authorities (and) made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the crossColossians 2:15 (NIV). Both our quality of life and ability to bless others has more to do with our own activation of the WORD. Perhaps needless to say, the first thing is to heed or take notice or pay attention to it which means to both listen to and follow or do it (James 2:22). The Lord Jesus said, it is the fertile soil of a heart (spirit) which “hears the word, and receive it, and bear fruit: thirty, sixty, or a hundred times as muchMark 4:20 (MEV).

We are capable of doing so as we remain “in Him” (John 15:4-5); and nothing, no one, no power can snatch us out (John 10:27-30). Therefore, the Living Word cautioned about what we allow into the ear-gate and eye-gate; for the more thought and study we give the WORD is the more virtue and knowledge we will obtain (Mark 4:24 [AMP]). In other words, the quality of the harvest thereof correlates to the attention given therein. The cohorts of the thief are sent to distract from the WORD via doubt, fear, hate (John 10:10; Mark 4:15; 1Pe 5:8). However, by revelation of the WORD, we may know that doubt is the opposite of belief, and fear is the opposite of faith, and hate is the opposite of love. All whose heart/spirit are purified by faith and receive the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:14) walk in the obedience that comes from faith. Yet faith is powered by love – the first fruit we are to give evidence of and from which all the other fruit emanate to the glory of GOD.
