Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

  •  Noah believed GOD; his faith acted on GOD’s instruction for building an Ark. Sans a cloud in the sky it’s likely that a significant number or people deemed him foolish as they continued in their revelry. (Genesis 6:9-22)
  •  Abraham believed GOD; he had faith that GOD was able and mighty to fulfill His promises regardless of His age. Surely using the name changed by GOD some likely saw him as a bit askew. (Genesis 15 & Genesis 17:1-22)
  •  Joseph believed GOD; he kept faith in GOD though sold by jealous brothers and imprisoned by a lie. Eventually, the same would seek assistance from the brother they once scorned as a dreamer. (Genesis 37 – Genesis 42)
  •  Moses believed GOD; his faith allowed intercession for the “stiff-necked” who continually doubted GOD and behaved poorly. (Exodus 32:1-14)
  •  Caleb believed GOD; his faith moved swiftly to encourage those rendered fearful by the bad report given by others who doubted. (Numbers 13:26-33)
  •  Rahab believed GOD; she acted faithfully by protecting the lives of those sent to spy out the land, and the lives of her family were saved. (Joshua 2)
  •  Joshua believed GOD; his faith exhibited bold patience in an unprecedented maneuver by which a nation’s seemingly impenetrable wall would collapse. The inhabitants deemed themselves safe but it fell by a shout. (Joshua 6)
  •  Deborah believed GOD; she had steadfast faith regardless of the nine hundred iron chariots of the oppressor. And despite Barak’s response to her message from the LORD, went unflinchingly into battle with him. (Judges 4)
  •  Jonathan believed GOD; his faith was emboldened by confidence in the power of the LORD for victory “whether by many or by few”. (1 Samuel 14)
  •  David believed GOD; his faith brought both the anointing for King and the Spirit of the LORD upon him though he was the youngest of seven brothers. Fearless concerning boast(s) made against the armies of the living GOD, David didn’t walk but ran toward Goliath and prevailed (1Sa 16 – 1Sa 17).
  •  Jesus the Anointed One believed GOD; He too exemplified faith that, after offering His sinless lifeblood and descending into hell, GOD would raise Him up holding the keys of Hades and death (Revelation 1:18-19).

A significant number of people believed (exercised faith) before the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus the Messiah; and a significant number of people believe (exercise faith) after the birth, death, and resurrection of the Messiah – Jesus the Christ.

Believers are branches on the Vine who is Jesus, called of Abba Father through Him (John 6:44 & 14:6; Colossians 1:13) to produce good fruit (John 15:1-8; Galatians 22-23). Though the meat of the WORD facilitates ability to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14); the God kind of love prevents advertisement of the bad fruit of another and promotes intercessory prayer instead (1 Peter 3:8-12). Believers are to hear as well as act on the WORD with confidence (faith) that GOD is able to do make every favor and earthly blessing manifest in abundance (2Co 9:8). For by the WORD we may know that all the promises of GOD are “Yes” in Christ Jesus, to which the believer says “Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20). Glory to GOD in the highest by Whom peace on earth and good will toward mankind is represented in YESHUA/JESUS.

The only begotten Son of GOD was born in Bethlehem and is now a fully grown man seated at the right hand of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty. Believers praise the Name of JESUS, we praise the Name of JESUS, praise the Name of JESUS overall. For by the blood of JESUS the full ransom was paid that obliterated the sins that once kept us from direct fellowship with Abba Father. Now (this day), all “in Him” may come boldly to the “throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16). The greatest man ever born, walked on earth in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father for the sake of all mankind (i.e., believers, unbelievers). And He is coming again soon (Revelation 22:7,12, 20); “13  clothed with a robe dipped in blood. His name is called The Word of God. . . . .  16  On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” Revelation 19:13-16 (MEV).

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
