Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.Romans 4:20 (AMP)

Abraham is referred to as the father of everyone who is in the faith; “He is not our racial father — that’s reading the story backward. He is our faith fatherRomans 4:16d (MSG). Faith trusts God. Faith believes the always good that God says about those reconciled unto His Family by the blood of Jesus. Faith depicts confidence that God always follows-through on His promises as we allow (free-will) by adhering to His Word. Faith is a force which empowers. The New Testament/New Covenant between God and man was made better (than the Old Testament/Old Covenant between God and man) by Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing. Abraham could only look forward to the promised Messiah whereas we are “in Him” Who: was born sans sin, took the sins of mankind upon Himself, was dead and buried, resurrected as the firstborn with the keys of death & Hades in His hand, seated at the right hand of God the Father, and is presently our High Priest. By this covenant, we may move beyond the point of salvation. In other words, we don’t stand at the cross because the redemptive work of Christ Jesus has enabled us to partake of the blessings gifted by the grace of God the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Sovereign Lord God Almighty, with Whom we were reconciled by the Blood which facilitated our ability to call Him Abba Father, has already given us all things to enjoy. Yet, these aren’t simply for personal enjoyment; all these things are given to establish God’s covenant in the earth. That is, Abba Father has given each of us an assignment relative to His kingdom for which we have been mightily equipped. Doesn’t matter how things feel or look in the natural realm because we, who are the righteousness of God, walk and/or live by faith, not by sight (2Co 5:7; Gal 3:11).

  • salvation by the grace of God is of faith (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • right standing as sons & daughters of God is of faith (Galatians 3:26)
  • receiving the Holy Spirit is of faith (Galatians 3:14)
  • the life we now live in the flesh is of faith (Galatians 2:20)
  • the shield in the whole armor of God is faith (Ephesians 6:16)

In a place called Gethsemane at the mount of Olives, Jesus prayed to Abba Father for Himself, for the Disciples who were with Him, and for those of us who would come more than 2000 years later (John 17:1-20); in agony “His sweat was as it were drops of blood falling to the groundLuke 22:44 (KJV). Surely such depicts that Jesus too had to have great faith that Abba Father would raise Him up – the firstborn with the keys of death and Hades (Ephesians 1:20, Revelation 1:18). Hence, the WORD strongly encourages us to focus on Jesus – the author/beginning and perfecter/finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The things of God empower us  for the good fight of faith as we run this race (1Ti 6:12; 1Co 9:24).  More specifically, the things we received through Christ Jesus include: “power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessingRevelation 5:12 (KJV). These are the things Abba Father bestowed His firstborn – the first man resurrected from the dead replete with glory – the last Adam from the beginning of time (John 1:1-2 & 17:5, Ephesians 3:9-11). For it was impossible for the disobedience of the first Adam to surprise He Who is Omniscient. God spoke the dominion of man (i.e., male, female) over the earth (not over other men):  26)  Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.   27)  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  28) Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it . . . “. Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV)

GOD said it, and that which goes forth from His mouth never returns void; it must accomplish that for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:11). Neither the devil nor his cohorts has a right to any aspect in the life of those redeemed, reborn (with a re-created spirit), and reconciled unto Abba Father as sons & daughters by the blood of Jesus. The thief only comes to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:10a). Hence, Lucifer will bluff just like he tricked the first woman because his entrance is by the speak out of one’s own mouth. For there is only THE BLESSING (no curses) for partakers of the covenant ratified by the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus who was sent and agreed to come, showed us by example (action) how God created us to operate; He only did and spoke as He saw and heard of Abba Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28 & 12:49-50 & 14:10). The thief comes to take the WORD out of your mouth via the thought(s) that you’re not able but you must be steadfast in the knowing that GOD IS ABLE. Therefore, by the Ministry-of-Authority in the Name above all names (Mark 16:17-18; Matthew 28:18-20), bind any semblance of demonic thoughts and demonic activity in Jesus’ name. Those made sons & daughters of God by the Blood have been authorized to rebuke the thief and refuse thoughts contrary to the Word of God. Faith immediately cast down any imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Faith prays in keeping with God’s Word. Faith speaks the Word of God. Therefore, when the thief’s thoughts attempt to be planted, we speak/say: “I can do all things through Christ Jesus’ anointing which empowers me. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Christ Jesus’ anointing which infuses inner strength into me. I am self-sufficient in Christ Jesus’ sufficiencyPhilippians 4:13 (personalized combination of KJV & AMP). This is why it’s necessary for us to read, study, and meditate (muttering, talking, musing, imagining/visualizing the harvest) God’s Word for revelation of the information therein by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Did the thief just plant a thought of no time? Cast it down in Jesus’ name.

Speak the promise . . .  Harriet
