All Christians have faith because each, who confess “Jesus is Lord” and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), are gifted the measure of faith as well as God’s kind of love/divine love/agape poured into each heart (Romans 12:3 & 5:5). Christians are called or referred to as Believers because each person has to believe in order to receive salvation that results in a reborn or re-created spirit. However, both the faith of those reconciled unto the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus and their aptitude to believe may be strengthened or developed via a conscious effort to meditate and speak in the manner of YHWH (with inserted vowels Yahweh, transliterated Jehovah, commonly interpreted the LORD) Who “calls things that are not as though they wereRomans 4:17c (NIV); He spoke whatsoever from the spirit realm for its manifestation in the natural realm (Genesis 1:3-24). Therefore, created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27), each of us is a speaking spirit who has a soul (i.e., mind, will, emotions) and lives in a body. However, though the spirit is re-created in an instant via salvation, Romans 12:2 and Ephesians 4:23 specifies the necessity for transformation of the mind by the WORD. If the spirit and the soul were the same the WORD couldn’t divide (Hebrews 4:12). Ongoing renewal of the mind is vital because the world encourages a different way of behavior and speak that may unintentionally invite maladies by the thief that only comes to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:10a). To be clear, those reconciled unto God the Father by the all redeeming, re-creating, reconciling, pacifying, all restoring blood of Jesus have diplomatic immunity as per Psalm 91. For the Blood still works and will never lose its power. Hallelujah! Therefore, the more we meditate and confess God’s Word, is the more increasingly effortless to speak in the way of God. For confessing and/or affirming God’s Word is like unto a gym for exercising faith and, like a muscle, the more exercise the more faith and ability to believe is strengthened or developed.
