Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

“. . . what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene. The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross. That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it – What God has arranged for those who love him. But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you.” 1Co 2:7-9 (MSG)

7 But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from human understanding] and now revealed to us by God – [that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].  8 None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.  9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. [Isa. 64:4; 65:17.]  10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit . . .”  1 Corinthians 2:7-10 (AMP)

The Spirit of God who is the Spirit of Truth who is the Holy Spirit is a person; not an “it”; He is present with us to remind us of all things YESHUA/JESUS; He brings revelation of the information in the Word of YHWH/JEHOVAH. For it is possible to have access to the information in the Word of God and at the same time have absolutely no revelation thereof because revelation of the information therein is by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Consequently,

  1. An individual must have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who personifies The Anointing.
  1. An individual chooses to spend quality time with God and in His Word (because God is a respecter of free-will).

Those who have neither #1 nor #2 are described by the Word to “Be ever hearing but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving”; further describing them as having calloused hearts, dull ears, and closed eyes; “Otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (Oh yes! The Anointing has healing power.)

Those who’ve Romans 10:9 are instantly bestowed #1 from God. As it is written, “Now He who established us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God. Who has also sealed us and given the earnest of (His) Spirit in our hearts.” And again, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One . . .”. And again, “Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.”

However, a significant number of those replete relative to #1 yet are scant with respect to #2, often give evidence of awaiting a “move of God” when, in actuality, God is waiting for His sons and daughters to bust-a-move. For Scripture relays, “God gave humankind dominion over the earth” and “God never goes back on that which He has spoken.” Nevertheless, the LORD who is ever faithful sent Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing who exemplified how we were created to operate in the earth; He has both shown us the way and equipped us:

  • 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of Truth. . . . 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:16,26 (NIV)
  • “However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” John 16:13 (NKJV)
  • 26 And the Holy Spirit helps us . . . For we don’t even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” Romans 8:26-27 (NLT)
  • “You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Corinthians 3:3 (NIV)
  • 13…when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people…” Ephesians 1:13-14 (NLT)

To reiterate, Oh yes! The Anointing has healing power; and He who personifies The Anointing dwells within. For as Romans 8:11 (AMP) relays, “And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal bodies . . . through His Spirit who dwells in you.” To which my personal response/confession is: “The Spirit of God is in me; the anointing of God is on me; the healing power of God is through me; the wisdom of God is being formed in me; the peace of God surrounds me; the favor of God is upon me; and the love of God is being perfected in me.”
