Praying What GOD Said
Praying Scripture: paragraph 1 – Ephesians 1:17-23 (from NIV & AMP personalized); paragraph 2 – Ephesians 3:16-19 (from NIV personalized); paragraph 3 – Philippians 1:9-11 (from AMP personalized); paragraph 4 – Ephesians 3:20-21 (from NIV personalized)
“Abba Father, God of my Lord and Savior – Jesus the Christ, the Father of glory, grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of You, Father. By having the eyes of my spirit flooded with light, so that I may know You better. And so that I may know and understand the hope to which You have called me, and what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Your set apart ones); And so that I may know and understand Your incomparably great power for us who believe, as demonstrated by Your mighty strength exerted in Christ Jesus when You raised Him up from the dead, and seated Him at Your (own) right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all principalities, and powers, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and this world but also in the age and the world to come. And You placed all things under the feet of Jesus our Lord, and appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.”
“Abba Father, I pray that out of all Your glorious riches, You may strengthen me with power by Your Spirit in my inner being so that Christ Jesus lives in my heart by faith. And I pray that being rooted and established in love, I may have power together with all the saints to grasp what is the length and the breadth and the depth and the height of the love of Jesus, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fullness of You.”
“That my love may abound more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that my love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment]. So that I may surely grasp what is vital and of real value; that I may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ Jesus’ return [neither stumbling nor causing others to stumble]. And that as a branch in the Vine who is Jesus, I bear much fruit to the honor, praise and glory of You with thanksgiving, in Jesus’ Name.”
“Now unto You Father, who is able to do immeasurably more than all I can ever ask or imagine, according to Your power at work in me, to You be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, forever and ever and ever, Amen.”
