Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,  

YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) is The Creator. The fact that mankind was created in the image of God (refer to Genesis 1:26-27) pertains to the inward or inner spirit, not the outward or outer physical body. As it is written:  

  • God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality)John 4:24 (AMPC).  

The inward or inner spirit of man was created from what isn’t visible to the natural eye whereas the outward or outer man was formed from the earth which can be seen with the natural eye (refer to Genesis 2:7). Initially all mankind was created with the same spirit as the LORD God which changed due to the first Adam’s free-will decision.  

To be clear about the use of the term free-will. as more than one person has relayed their issue with its utilization in these writings (to such an extent as to attempt to assure that “it’s not in the Bible”), it’s literally found in Numbers 15:3-4 [TLB] and likely elsewhere. Furthermore, free-will pertains to the fact that the LORD God desires a genuine personal relationship with His children as opposed to robotic compliance. For example, the LORD clearly told the first Adam what would occur if he acted contrary to God’s advice (refer to Genesis 2:16-17). By study of God’s Word we may know that Eve was deceived because she wasn’t there when God’s clear advice was given. Yet although the first Adam was in the very midst of that deceptive conversation, he did nothing to intercede but allowed the conversation to continue and became a partaker thereof (refer to Genesis 3:1-6).  

We may surmise by revelation of the Holy Spirit that there was no malicious intent on the part of either Eve or the first Adam. As one man-of-God succinctly relays they weren’t perfect, they were innocent; they were being made perfect as they continued to listen to and adhere to God’s direction. The bottom-line is: regardless of the fact that the first Adam received clear advice from the LORD God, he used his own free-will in acting contrary to God’s clear direction resulting in spiritual death which is the separation between the LORD God and all mankind. For sin can’t exist in the presence of God; and the disconnection between God and mankind also necessarily meant the departure of the Spirit of God from earth. Subsequently, due to the transgression of the first Adam, every human-being born thereafter is born in sin (period), with the sin nature that requires new birth. That is, a reborn/re-created/regenerated inward or inner spirit (refer to John 3:3-6); and the promise of such would be made manifest by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. Therefore, whether an individual believes in God as well as whether an individual who believes in God also believes God, the fact of the matter is that God’s Word never returns void; every word sent out of the mouth of the LORD must accomplish everything for which it’s sent; and the Word was made flesh and named JESUS because “God so loved the world” (refer to Isaiah 55:11; John 1:14: Luke 1:28-31; John 3:16). Oh! the love of the only begotten Son of LOVE! For Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing – Seed of God sent for the harvest of more sons & daughters, walked in perfect obedience to the will of the LORD God on behalf of all mankind. As written via Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit:  

  • I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep (the full dimension) is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the full measure of the fullness of God.Ephesians 3:16-19 (NIV)  

The fullness of God is Love; there is no malevolence in God, and there are no maladies in God to put upon anyone, and any thoughts of malfeasance are neither in nor from Him. Rather, (as relayed in a previous Reflection on the Word of God entitled Blaming God) malevolence and thoughts of malfeasance as well as the consequences thereof are from “the thief who comes to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10a). Therefore, we endeavor to spend quality time with the LORD God through Christ Jesus as well as study in God’s Word because revelation of the information in the Word of God is through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit which assists in discernment and/or perspective. For even with the God-spoken lifespan of 120 years (refer to Genesis 6:3b) there aren’t enough life-years to “see” everything there is to know in the Word of God by human intellect alone. Though the “next level” teaching by an individual may be phenomenal their enlightenment is through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit; and by Scripture we may know that the LORD God is no respecter of persons (refer to Acts 10:34; Colossians 3:10). All of us comprising the body of Christ must endeavor to spend quality time with the LORD and in His Word, with eyes to see and ears to hear given to each person reconciled unto the Family of God by the blood of Jesus. For the Ministry of the Holy Spirit returned to earth upon the Resurrection and Ascension of Christ Jesus. Before The Passion of the Christ, the LORD God told the three Apostles who were with the Lord Jesus: . . . This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.Mark 9:7 (TLB). Therefore, we listen to YESHUA/JESUS Who was sent as the “sample son”; to show us how we were created to operate in this world with rulership, and authority over all demonic forces or activity; endeavoring to develop “the measure of faith” powered or operated by love, both of which are gifted at salvation.
