To mimic YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) is to follow His example. Yet, to mimic the LORD God requires those created in His image and reconciled unto Him by the blood of YESHUA/JESUS, to understand His character. Our own awareness of the essence of Love who is God, to do in the way of God who is Love, is enabled through God’s Word. Though a significant number of whisperers may claim to be the voice of the LORD God, the way of the True and Living God is recognizable by the (always) good fruit thereof. For the definition of mimic is: “to imitate the speech or actions; to simulate.”1

  • Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;Ephesians 5:1 (KJV)

  • Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters.Ephesians 5:1 (TPT)

  • Therefore, be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].Ephesians 5:1 (AMPC)

  • Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents.Ephesians 5:1 (MSG)

The Word made flesh – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing only did and spoke as He saw and heard of the Father; and those rendered sons and daughters of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus – those “in Him” do likewise. To move from “churchability” to BEing fully mature involves, yea requires, personal relationship with God the Father through Christ Jesus as enabled by the present-day Ministry of the Holy Spirit. More specifically, via Spirit-led prayer as well as revelation of the information in God’s Word through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit.

To reiterate as previously relayed in CKMusing610, before the birth of Jesus the Christ (BC) God’s Word instructed the set-apart ones about the behavior God expected of them as partakers of the Old Testament – The Covenant or Contract between them and the LORD God. Similarly, after the birth of Jesus the Christ (AD), God’s Word gives instruction to both the branch as well as the ingrafted branch who are the set-apart ones about the behavior God expects as partakers of the New Testament – The Covenant or Contract between us and the LORD God ratified by the sinless blood of Jesus. In other words, a clear difference between the behavior of the godly and the behavior of the un-godly to which the man-made or worldly subgroupings (i.e., race, ethnicity, class, caste, culture, etc.) are irrelevant because the difference between the godly and the ungodly pertains to a reborn or re-created or regenerated spirit. For though the spirit is instantaneously reborn, the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) requires ongoing renewal of the mind in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Howbeit we gain comprehension of God’s Word for its application throughout our walk along the “narrow” way.

  • The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the ‘spirit of religious duty,’ leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the ‘Spirit of full acceptance,’ enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, ‘Beloved Father!’ For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost beings, ‘You are God’s beloved child!’ And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. . ..Romans 8:14-17 (TPT)

Thank You, LORD God for the mystery of Your plan revealed in Christ Jesus. Thank You, Lord Jesus for walking in perfect obedience to the will of the Father on behalf of all mankind that we might (free-will) have abundant life. Thank You, Holy Spirit for Comforting, Counseling, Teaching, and reminding us of all things Jesus. All honor and praise and glory to Abba Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Peace . . . Harriet
