If you’ve been made a son or daughter of the LORD God Almighty by the all-redeeming, re-creating, reconciling, pacifying, all-restoring blood, you may be assured Someone is (always) looking out for you; He is JESUS. By the grace of Love who is God, we have been rendered co-heirs with JESUS – the Great Intercessor, our Apostle and High Priest. Therefore, the focus of Believers is to be on JESUS; the enemy of God will encourage focusing on self and one’s own doing and/or lack thereof by the shortcomings of the flesh. However, those made sons and daughters of God by His grace are to be stayed on JESUS – the author and finisher of our faith. Transformation is not of self-effort; rather, we rest in JESUS and receive through Him “because as He is, so are we in this world1 John 4:17b (NKJV). The WORD tells us that we can do all things through Christ Jesus’ Anointing which empowers us. The power of our Lord Jesus is in us because His perfect nature is in us; we are not perfect in and of our own flesh, we are made perfect in Him by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through the adoption as sons (i.e., male, female) of God, we have inherited the promise; rendered co-heirs with Jesus by His blood. Therefore, everything God the Father has given God the Son so too have we, including His Spirit. Whereof is the assurance? It is of the Sovereign LORD our God whose WORD never returns void. Yet, to manifest the things Abba Father has given those in Christ Jesus requires a willingness (free-will) to be led by the Holy Spirit, and our love walk is important because the operative power of faith is divine love. The flesh wants to do what it desires and is encouraged to do daily by the things of the world surrounding us but as it is written, we do not use our liberty as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather the more transformation into the fullness of Christ Jesus, the more transformation we desire. Transformation is made effortless by the power of the Holy Spirit when we let go and let God. Speak the promise . . . Harriet
