Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

“. . . (God) can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him.”   John Wesley

God gave dominion over the earth to man (Genesis 1:26-28); hence no spirit (whether good or bad) can operate in this earth sans a body allowing it. Ah, but those made sons & daughters of the LORD God Almighty by the finished work of Jesus the Anointed One have: the covering of His blood (Romans 3:24-25), the sword which is the WORD of God (Ephesians 6:17), authority in the Name above all names-JESUS (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19), the Angels of God which are ministering spirits assigned to each of us (Hebrews 1:13-14; Psalms 91:11-12 & 104:4), the Holy Spirit who resides with each of us (Luke 11:13; John 14:16-17 & 16:13; Acts 1:8; Galatians 3:14b; Ephesians 1:13; 1Th 4:8), and more.

In Christ Jesus we have the favor of God; and favor isn’t fair. The gifts received by God’s grace and the blood of Jesus have been given, yet must be received by faith and used. That favor isn’t fair is necessary because the thief who comes “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10a) doesn’t play fair; he intends to take as many into the pit of hell with him. Nevertheless, the devil is a defeated foe as the Lord Jesus triumphed over him and all his cohorts at The Cross, descended into hell, and took back the keys of death and Hades (Colossians 2:14-15; Ephesians 4:7-12; Revelation 1:18).

Therefore, we do not pray/ask God the Father to do something about the devil ‘cause He’s already done that through Christ Jesus. Rather, we must allow or welcome (as God doesn’t come sans an invitation) the Holy Spirit for renewal of the mind; that we may know about and use the gifts as well as the weapons of God which are bestowed. We put on the whole armor of God for this war is not as it appears in the natural realm, yet those in JESUS have the victory (2Co 10:4; Ephesians 6:11-18; 1Co 15:57) to the honor, praise, and glory of God.

We resist and cast down doubt, in Jesus’ name; resist and cast down fear, in Jesus’ name; and bind Satan in the Name of JESUS. We plead the blood of Jesus over our households, and draw a blood line all around it; and we bind any hindering force to peace, and light, and well-being, in Jesus’ name. We bind demonic activity in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and elsewhere, in Jesus’ name. We lift others up by naming names because Jesus hears us, and He has already said that He will do it (John 14:13-14). Therefore, we ask and do in faith which is powered by divine love (Galatians 5:6). Hallelujah, Thine the glory! Hallelujah, Amen.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
