“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

“Who Himself bore our sins in His body on a tree, so that we might die to sins and live unto righteousness —by whose wounds we were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

The Old Testament was the New Testament concealed; and the New Testament is the Old Covenant revealed. The Old Testament was a shadow of the things to come, the mystery of which GOD revealed in the birth, death and resurrection of Christ Jesus; He is the Living Word. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us . . . ” John 1:14 (KJV) Hallelujah!
