Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He’s set us up in the kingdom of the Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating. We look at the Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.Colossians 1:13-18 (MSG)

Oh! to know the love of YESHUA/JESUS . . . Emmanuel – GOD with us . . . YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD)1 and also GOD,and also LOVE (1 John 4:8, 16b), and many more Names; He came just for me and you. For the full restoration of mankind that begins with a reborn or re-created spirit which, due to the transgression of the first Adam resulting in our personal or one-to-one separation from God (Genesis 2:17 – 3:6), none were able to fully accomplish. But God made blood covenant with Himself (Genesis 15:9-17) until the mystery of His plan was revealed in Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing; He is the Word of God made flesh – the Living Word Who dwelt among us (John 1:14) for the redemption, re-creation, reconciliation, and restoration of all who by faith might (free-will) choose to believe in their heart and confess with their mouth Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10). For by the grace of GOD, His will for the reconciliation of mankind unto Himself, would be made manifest by the birth and death and resurrection of His only begotten Son by His Omnipotence exerted through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:20). This JESUS walked in perfect obedience to the will of Abba Father on behalf of all mankind; His was the lonely (relative to the earthly) redemptive work endured from birth through to His earth-bound ministry through to the Passion of the Christ through to His death and descent into hell whereby He took back the keys of death & Hades (Revelation 1:18) through to His resurrection as Firstborn from among the dead (Colossians 1:18) by the power of the Holy Spirit . . . just for me and you. Thank You, LORD God!

Every aspect of the Lord Jesus’ redemptive work on behalf of all mankind was lonely (in terms of earthly relationships) from beginning to end. From the onset the Son of God was ignored by the very people to whom He was sent. “It is strange that the wise men of the East should travel approximately two years to get to Bethlehem to see the newborn Babe, while the scribes and chief priest in Jerusalem, only five miles away, who knew where He was to be born, did not bother to investigate the report of His birth.3   And as E.W. Kenyon also relayed:

It is hard to conceive the loneliness experienced by the Creator. Homes were closed against Him. Rather than endure persecution and ridicule from the religious leaders of the day, they excluded their Jehovah from their circles. He was an outcast. ‘I was as a child cast upon thee from my mother’s womb.’ Satan sought His life from His birth. Perhaps if we knew more about the earth walk of the Master we would see a life filled with loneliness and heartaches. ‘He is a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.’ He is the despised and rejected one; and yet He is love.” 4

The Lord Jesus said, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let meMatthew 23:27 (NIV). Nevertheless, the Son of God Who is Love set His face like flint to fulfill the task that would bestow upon all mankind, the freedom to choose between eternal life with God the Father or eternal death with “the thief (that) only comes to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10a). The redemptive work of Christ Jesus – His triumph at the Cross over Satan and his cohorts (Colossians 2:15) on behalf of all mankind, allows for our ability to reign in life on this side of Heaven (Romans 5:17) to establish God’s covenant in the earth. And even at perhaps what might’ve been the Lord Jesus’ loneliest time ever, relayed via John 17:1-26, His focus was still on us as He prayed to God the Father:

  • that we may have similar relationship & fellowship with the Father
  • that the Father would protect us from evil
  • that we may be one just as He and the Father are one
  • that we might be in the world but not of the world via sanctification
  • that we may be brought to complete unity as evidence of Jesus’ and the Father’s love
  • that the love of the Father for Him would also be realized in us

Oh! to know the love of – YESHUA/JESUS – The Reason for This Season is the only begotten Son of LOVE Who is GOD. Hallelujah!
