Prayer . . .
God gave dominion or authority over the earth to man (Genesis 1:26-28) yet the disobedience of the first Adam (Genesis 2:16-17 & 3:6) handed or turned-over that authority to the devil by whom every perversion manifest which includes poverty, sickness, spiritual death [separation from God], and physical death [separation of the spirit & soul from the body] well in advance of God given long life (Genesis 6:3b; Psalm 91:16). However, as every word sent forth out of the mouth of God must accomplish that for which it is sent (Isaiah 55:11), the obedience of the last Adam even unto death on behalf of all mankind took the keys back from the devil (Revelation 1:18) and restored authority unto all “in Him” (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18). This New Covenant between God & man ratified by the spotless blood of Jesus, necessarily includes being redeemed from poverty, sickness, and death. GOD always fulfills His part; our part is to allow the anointing – God’s power in us to work through us on behalf of self and others, our neighborhood and workplace, our country and the world.
Partakers of the Heavenly Calling are responsible for fulfilling our part by effective use of the ministry-of-authority, and the liberty that allows God to work through each of us because God gave dominion over the earth to those whose spirit was created in His image and whose physical body was formed of earth. As succinctly relayed by another, “when God turned this earth over to man, for Him to come in here and intervene, and deliver man, save man, heal man, so forth, He needs an access; He needs somebody’s authority to come in . . . it’s called prayer.”1 Therefore, the prayer of faith grants God access for His power within (the anointing bestowed by the finished work of Christ Jesus on behalf of all mankind) to work through us. And we may have confidence (faith) that every prayer to God the Father in Jesus’ Name, that’s in keeping with God’s will, He hears and grants (1Jn 5:14-15) . . . it’s already done. Faith takes out from the spirit realm for manifestation into the natural realm. All to the praise and glory of God, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
