GOD doesn’t take away life; rather clinging to Him lengthens our days and the quality thereof. The Sovereign Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth is the promoter of life; adhering to His precepts – the principles of God’s Kingdom of Light is the multiplying factor for every good thing. Satan who is the enemy of God and necessarily the enemy of man, “comes to steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10). In other words the devil and his cohorts come to subtract from life and the quality thereof.

Oftentimes, in an attempt to make sense of that which is incomprehensible, we attribute maladies and malfeasance to the LORD God; such is tantamount to attributing a lie to the Sovereign LORD who is incapable of a lie. The Living Word – Jesus the Anointed One made it plain: Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 1:1, 6:68, 8:44).

The more we come to know the character of God who is Love is the more we come to love Him who first loved us (1 John 4:16 & 19); and the more we love God comes an increased desire to walk in keeping with His precepts; and the more we do according to the way of God lengthens life as well as the quality thereof for His glory and always good purpose (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).  “1) Praise the LORD, all you nations. Praise Him, all you people of the earth. 2) For He loves us with unfailing love; the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever” Psalm 117 (NLT).
