The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, with Whom I am reconciled by the blood of JESUS, “calls things that be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17c). That is, Abba Father speaks things into existence such as He did the earth and all thereof. Perhaps the biggest surprise to the Angels who watched was when God created man (i.e., male, female) in His image (Genesis 1:27). First God created man, then breathed His very DNA into man; and gave man dominion over all the earth with free-will.

Given the evidence of man’s stiff-necked  or hard-headed propensity to go against the will of God, the clincher is that God created us with free-will. The fact that man was created in the likeness of God necessarily means that before man’s fall away from God, as a result of him choosing contrary to God’s instruction (Genesis 2:16-17), innate in man was the same character of God. The mercy and unconditional love of God the Father sent Jesus the Anointed One to return man to right standing with Him; and such is true for whosoever will Acts 2:38 & Romans 10:9.
