JESUS The Great Intercessor
God the Father, the ever compassionate and faithful covenant keeper, sent Jesus the Anointed One on behalf of man (i.e., male, female); and because He too loved us, JESUS was obedient to the will of Abba Father and agreed to leave the presence of Whom He had always been with, to be born as the Only Begotten Son of God. JESUS agreed to the will of Abba Father so that we might (free-will) have abundant life (John 10:10).
“16) When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. 17) And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.” Matthew 8:16-17 (AMP).
Yet “3) He was despised and rejected by men . . . 5) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and by His stripes we are healed. 6) All of us have strayed away like sheep. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on Him the guilt and sins of us all. 7) He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. . . . 10) Yet it was the LORD’s will . . . and though the LORD made (JESUS’) life an offering for sin, (the sown seed of the life of God’s Only Begotten Son brought and continues to bring forth a harvest of many sons & daughters), many heirs. . . . 12) Therefore, (God gave Jesus) the honors of one who is mighty and great, And He shall divide the spoil with the numerous, because He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for sinners.” Isaiah 53:3,5-7,10,12 (NKJV, NIV, NLT [combined]).
