Divine Healing & Health
Although I desire to share every personal testimony glorifying GOD, I’m often not compelled to do so for various reasons. Recently however, upon spending quality time with a soror and sister-in-Christ, I was moved to share about believing and receiving the finished work of healing and health in my body by the finished work of Christ Jesus. After, finishing the testimony my sister-in-Christ responded with something along the lines of: “oh yes, we can receive healing that way (by faith) for ‘some’ things”.
The Sovereign LORD God Almighty isn’t limited to “some” things. Rather, a significant number of saints (set apart ones), those rendered sons & daughters of God the Father by the blood of Jesus the Anointed One, often pick or choose to believe parts of God’s WORD. The fact of the matter is the things of God are by faith which is powered by divine love. Faith requires remaining steadfast on the WORD regardless of what it looks like in the natural. In other words, don’t change your confession from what doth saith the LORD.
The Living Word – JESUS paid it all; only thing left for each of us is to walk as ambassadors of Christ, as epistles of light, which is by God’s mighty power residing in each of us who believe and receive the finished work of abundance and supply in our life by the finished work of Christ Jesus. God the Father sent His Only Begotten Son to restore man to his rightful place (right standing with God); that man might (free-will) receive everything that Christ Jesus sacrificed His sinless lifeblood that we might believe and receive. Scripture says much in regard to healing, divine health and wellness, a few of which follow:
Psalm 103:2-3 (AMP) – “2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits— 3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,”
Isaiah 53:5 (NIV) – “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV) – “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
John 10:10 (KJV) – “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that rather might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.“
