Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
| Philippians 4:4-8 – “4 (I) rejoice in the LORD; I will say it again, (I) rejoice in the LORD. 5 (I) let my gentleness be evident to all; the LORD is near (me). 6 (I am) anxious for nothing because in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, (I) let my requests be made known unto GOD. 7 And the peace of GOD which passes all understanding, guards (my) heart and (my) mind in Christ Jesus. 8 (And) whatsoever is true, noble, pure, lovely, excellent and praiseworthy, (I) think on these things.” (personalized) |
The WORD is a lamp which lights our path (Psalm 119:105). Therefore, Satan comes to take it out of your mouth. And the WORD was made flesh to be a light for all mankind (John 1:1-14). Therefore, Satan sought to eliminate the Living Word because he was void of knowledge concerning the mystery of GOD’s plan to reconcile man (i.e., male, female) to Himself; “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ” 2Co 5:21 (NLT).
Using allegory to teach the people about situations that make it easy for Satan to snatch or steal seed (symbolic for the WORD or message of the Kingdom of God ) before it can take root in the heart (concept of firm foundation), the Living Word relayed the parable of The Four Soils (Matthew 13:3-9; Mark 4:3-8; Luke 8:5-8). After His disciples requested clarification, the Lord Jesus explained to them that: (a) in the first situation the seed was allowed to fall to the ground, (b) in the second situation the seed had no root, (c) in the third situation the seed is unfruitful, and (d) in the fourth situation the seed planted in fertile soil and tended produced crop far beyond what was sown.
The enemy’s plan is to take as many with him into the pit of Hades and eternal death. Therefore, the last thing Satan wants is for the Remnant to fully comprehend who they are and Whose they are; that everything God the Father bestowed Christ Jesus (Revelation 5:12) so too have those in Him been given; that the purpose of The blessing (Proverb 10:22, Galatians 3:14) is to be a blessing; that GOD’s set-apart ones are to operate as kings & priests (Revelation 1:5-6 [KJV]) in the earth – birthing new citizens into the kingdom, healing the sick, and bringing God’s compassionate love to the brokenhearted. In so doing, Believers snatch the lost out of the devil’s snare to the honor, praise and glory of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!
The enemy comes for the WORD so that faith isn’t strengthened because “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). The manifestation(s) of the promises of GOD is an outcome of faith (Romans 4:16); belief that GOD will do exactly what He said. Faith keeps the WORD at the forefront by meditating, muttering, and speaking that which GOD says regardless of what it looks like in the natural realm. Faith-filled words allow the Angel(s) of GOD assigned to you, to work on your behalf. The Living Word told us that great things may be accomplished with faith as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20); and all restored by the blood of Jesus received the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3c).
Speak the promise . . . Harriet
