Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

For all the promises of God are ‘yes’ in Christ Jesus to which we say ‘so be it/Amen’ to the glory of God.”     2Corinthians 1:20 (KJV, NKJV, AMP combined)

The Message Bible – “Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the   Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s   Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a   sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us. By his Spirit he has stamped   us with his eternal pledge — a sure beginning of what he is destined to   complete.”          2 Corinthians 1:20-22 Amplified Bible20 For as many are the promises of God, they all find   their Yes in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen   (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory   of God. 21 But it is God Who   confirms and makes us steadfast and established us [in joint fellowship] with   you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the gifts   of the Holy Spirit]; 22 [He has   also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and   giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of   His promise].”           2 Corinthians 1:20-22

I pray to the Father, in Jesus’ name,  that those in Him become more cognizant of the fact, and exemplify confident trust (faith), that all the promises of God the Father received through Christ Jesus are true unto them. It’s yet another thing that I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus because such precipitates the mindset to bless others. To BE “in Him” means, that which the Father has given the Lord Jesus, “power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessingRevelations 5:12 (KJV), so too have you and I been given; for we are “in Him”. The Amplified version of Ephesians 1:22 tells us that God the Father has put all things under Jesus’ feet (Psalm 8:6), and appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church which is His Body. As K.E. Hagin amply stated, a head can’t sit sans a body. Hence as partakers of salvation through Christ, we have been raised-up together and seated with Him in the heavenly sphere (Ephesians 2:6). Faith doesn’t “see” with the natural eyes in the natural or worldly realm. Rather, faith believes GOD sight unseen to receive of Him from out of the spirit realm (Hebrews 11:1-6). The Amplified version’s parenthesized “so be it” in 2 Corinthians 1:20, reminds of Mary’s response to the Angel sent of God to relay that she was highly favored and what would BE through the power of the Most High God by the Holy Spirit. At the end of that conversation, Mary’s response to the information relayed by the mighty warrior of GOD was: “May it be to me as you have saidLuke 1:26-38 (NIV) or “be it unto me according to thy word”. This day (today), all in Him are blessed and highly favored of GOD, to which I say the great “Amen’ (so be it).

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
