Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a   thousand generations.”  Deuteronomy 7:9 (KJV)
. . . He always remembers His covenant. He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever.”   Psalm 11:5b,9,10 (NKJV & NLT)
My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.”     Psalm 89:34 (NKJV)

GOD is not a man that He should change (1 Samuel 15:29, Malachi 3:6a, Hebrews 13:8, James 1:17). Although man changes his mind, such never alters the Word of God. Rather, man’s detour from the way of God alters the circumstances of that man and his seed for generations thereafter. A myriad of things such as protection and favor are included within a covenant which required blood between two men; hence the term “cut covenant”. However, when God made covenant with Abram, sin had entered the earth by the first man who went against God’s command (Genesis 2:16). That is, the first Adam utilized free-will in allowing the trickery of the thief who only comes to steal and kill and destroy (Genesis 3; John 10:10). After the flood, the drunkenness of Noah precipitated the curse he spoke over one of his three sons whose seed would contribute to the re-population of the earth (Genesis 9 – Genesis 10). Sin can’t exist in the presence of the Lord God; it dies in the presence of Purity and Truth and Love who is God. Hence, God “cut covenant” with Himself on behalf of man (Genesis 15:1-21). Thereafter, blood from specific innocent animals was required as a sacrifice for the sins of the chosen.

Nevertheless, God commanded man to be fruitful and as relayed through the Prophet Isaiah, His Word never returns void (Isaiah 45:23, Isaiah 55:11). Hence Abba Father provided a way of escape; that the curse might (free-will) be replaced with The Blessing, sickness for divine health, poverty for divine wealth, and spiritual death for eternal life (2 Corinthians 8:9, Isaiah 53:5-6, John 10:10, John 5:24). This is the new covenant; the mystery of the Father’s plan revealed in Christ Jesus. That is, through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ, a better covenant between GOD and man was ratified by the Blood of the precious Lamb of God. This gift of God’s Word made flesh (John 1:14), the Living Word is of the grace of the One who never changes. This grace bespeaks the ever faithful Sovereign Lord God Almighty for the full restoration of man created in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). This is the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing. “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus ChristRomans 5:17 (KJV). Glory to God in the highest!
