Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,
The Lord Jesus said that it gives the Father great happiness to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). The priceless inheritance kept beyond reach isn’t in reference to our reach but to the reach of the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (1 Peter 1:4; John 10:10). The Sovereign Lord God Almighty who is ever faithful and compassionate desires the best for us. As it is written, “The blessing of the LORD, makes one rich. And He adds no sorrow with it” Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV). Abba Father has absolutely no desire to withhold any good thing from those that God created in His likeness. The Blessing which began in Genesis 1:28 and restored again and again and again – from Noah to Abraham to us, contains many blessings and is given to each who believes and receives Christ Jesus (Genesis 9:1-3 & 12:2-3; Deuteronomy 28:3-14; Galatians 3:14). Everyone reconciled unto God the Father by the blood of Jesus are rendered “kings and priests unto God” Revelation 1:6 (KJV); for kings have the ability to distribute wealth, and the focus of priests is to lead steadfastly in the way of God. In the Old Testament/Old Covenant the LORD desired His chosen ones to be a kingdom of priests to which they initially agreed but then became afraid and preferred that God not speak directly to them (Exodus 19:5-8 & 20:19). Hence, the Prophets through whom, for hundreds of years, God would speak to His people (until the period of approximately 400 years between the Old Testament/Old Covenant and the New Testament/New Covenant whereof “not a single divine spokes-person appeared before the nation”).1 None of this is merely about title or aggrandizement, nor is man able in and of himself; for we are dependent upon the LORD who is sovereign and independent. Every God-given assignment for God’s always good purpose of establishing God’s covenant in the earth is accomplished of God’s might (Ephesians 6:10 [AMP]): by the Holy Spirit, The Blessing, the weapons of God, the ministry-of-authority in the Name above all names, God’s angelic Host – the armies of the LORD of which one alone can “handle” thousands (Joshua 5:13-15; 2 Kings 6:16-17 & 20:35), and the Angel(s) of God individually assigned to minister unto each of us (Psalms 34:7, 91:11-12; Daniel 6:22). Except for the ones that mistakenly decided to follow Lucifer in his rebellion (Isaiah 14:12-14 [KJV]; Revelation 12:9 [KJV]), the Angels of the LORD are diligent about serving GOD and ministering unto us in God’s way. Amazed yet, as relayed in Psalms 8:4-6, somewhat bewildered when, after the earth was null (perhaps from God’s casting down Satan like lightning [Luke 10:18]), God created man in His image/likeness/character and divine DNA (Genesis 1:26-27). As one man-of-God described it: “the whole universe was silently transfixed. . . . . in awe of what GOD was about to do . . . duplicate Himself in this creature called man.”2 Hallelujah!
Speak the promise . . . Harriet
