In the Old Testament/Old Covenant between GOD and man, Jacob whose name would later be changed to Israel (Genesis 35:10) said, “9)  O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac . . .  10)  I am not worthy of all the lovingkindness and all the faithfulness which You have shown to Your servant. For with my staff I crossed over this Jordan, and now I have become two encampmentsGenesis 32:9-10 (MEV).

By the finished work of Christ Jesus we have a more better covenant ratified by the Blood. Therefore, in this New Testament/New Covenant between GOD and man, we may know that it is the grace of God the Father which allowed for the all redeeming, re-creating, reconciling, all restoring blood of Jesus that rendered us worthy and bestowed an inheritance that will never spoil nor fade (1 Peter 1:4); no longer servants, we are sons and daughters of GOD who serve Him.
