Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

Waiting at the bus stop last week, I saw a man & a woman walking toward my direction and I perceived they were heading to me and discerned them to be “Jehovah Witnesses.” I became a little excited about the idea of conversing with them because a personal or one-to-one relationship with the LORD, and meditating the WORD of God, and welcoming (yea thirsting) for the teachings of the Living Water Who is God the Holy Spirit, yields a desire to talk of His goodness and mercy (favor). Our conversation started by her asking me one or two questions, the second one relative to (and I paraphrase) the chaotic state of the world. My response to her query was that a significant number in the Family of God aren’t interceding in prayer for the country, state, city, neighborhood, workplace, etcetera. To make a longer story short, we had a wonderful conversation about the Lord Jesus.

Doing in the Way directed by Love Who is God will have a broader effect than that which we may be able to surmise because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts,and His ways are higher than our’s (Isaiah 55:8). Therefore, when the WORD encourages the prayer of supplication for both country and all those in authority, we may be assured that such is for good for as it is written nothing contrary to the wisdom of God succeeds (see 1 Timothy 2:1-2; Proverbs 11:14 & 21:30).

The Sovereign LORD – Creator of the universe and every good thing in it, is completely devoted to you and I as evidenced through Christ Jesus our Lord. The more we yield to the Way of Abba Father, the more aware of the fact of His devotion. As relayed through the writings of David, even an Angel of God asked, “what is man that you are mindful of him? The son of man that you visit him?” Psalm 8:4 (NKJV). By renewal of the mind through revelation knowledge in the WORD by the power of the Holy Spirit, we become increasingly familiar with the essence of Love Who is God and His way of doing things; such results in increasing familiararity with the voice of Love and increases the propensity to resist and cast down any anxiety to do in keeping with the DNA of our reborn spirit.

In stating “that God is no respecter of persons” Acts 10:34 (KJV), Apostle Peter was referring to the fact that God does not play favorites. In other words, whatsoever God does for one person, He will do for another person because God is ever faithful – devoted to His creation. Therefore, when the LORD told Abraham to “walk in the land through its length and its width for I give it to you” Genesis 13:17 (NKJV), the same pertains to each one of God’s sons and daughters this very day. God has given to His sons and daughters everyplace where we set our feet; as epistles of light we are to bring light into every dark place . . . we are to Isaiah 61:2-4. God has given you your neighborhood – pray for it, decree a thing over it, bind every hindering force and/or demonic activity, all in the Name of JESUS. You and I have been called or predestined for such a time as this; claim it in the Way as evidenced by good fruit to the honor, praise, and glory of God with thanksgiving, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
