It is the redemptive work of Christ Jesus that puts us is right standing with GOD. Due to the first Adam’s disobedience, all of mankind fall short simply by being born into this sin laden earth (Genesis 2:16 – 3:6); no amount of “good behavior” was able to make our own selves righteous (Romans 3:23). For none could ever be perfect in adhering to the Ten Commandments and the 600+ laws which followed. It is through faith that we are declared righteous by GOD when we identified with His only begotten Son – YESHUA/JESUS, who born in the likeness of man sans sin, was perfectly obedient to the will of God the Father in suffering the penalty that freed us from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2). GOD so loved/loves us that He sent His only begotten Son – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing who took upon Himself our sickness, poverty, and spiritual death; that we might choose to receive His righteousness, health, riches, and eternal life with God the Father (John 3:16). Now, everything Christ Jesus received so too have we: “power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing” Revelation 5:12 (KJV). Such is by the grace or unmerited favor of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH, transliterated JEHOVAH, and commonly interpreted the LORD), and the mystery of His plan to reconcile us unto Himself through Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-12).

 Therefore, by faith in Christ Jesus we “are” (present tense as per Isaiah 53:5) and “were” (past tense as per 1 Peter 2:24) rendered well and healed, with a prosperous or abundant life (John 10:10b) on this side of Heaven, all that plus eternal life with God the Father hereafter. Christ Jesus paid it all; God the Father made it so that the sinless lifeblood of Jesus would render all “in Him” righteous. However, given the fiery darts of thief who fully intends to take as many created in the likeness of God  into the pit of hell and eternal life with him, it’s not prudent to idly await the Second Coming of Christ (Rev 22:7,12,20). The power of God is in us, the anointing of God is in us, the healing power of God is in us; it is by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within those reconciled unto the Family of God by the Blood, that we’re enabled to fight back in the whole armor of God. Therefore, the wise thing for sons & daughters of GOD to do includes: developing the measure of faith given (Ro 12:3 & 10:17); strengthening our spiritual nature through the Word of God i.e., Bible reading, hearing, meditation; seeking God’s face just as often as we seek His hand (Matthew 6:33); communicating with God in prayer i.e., asking and listening;  producing good fruit (Galatians 5:22-23); exercising the sacred ministry-of-authority (Mark 16:15-18); standing in the gap to make-up the hedge;  and bringing in the harvest of lost souls. All to the honor and praise and glory of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
