Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ, 

“⁷  Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.  ⁸  ‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways’ says the LORD.  ⁹  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. . . . . ¹¹  It is the same with My word, I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55 verses 7-9 (NKJV), verse 11 (NLT)

Mankind was created in the image of GOD and endowed with splendor (Genesis 1:26-27; Isaiah 55:5 & 60:9). Therefore, as GOD spoke things that be not as though they are, man too is a speaking spirit who has a soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) and is “housed” in or lives in a physical body. However, we were created with free-will which when void of God’s counsel or guidance results in the produce of bad fruit. It is important that we – those rendered sons & daughters of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, heed what is allowed out of our own mouth. Neither be too quick to share our personal critique(s) nor too quick to acquiesce in “going along”. For a significant number of people are quick to “go along”, fully convinced that wrong (whatsoever is manipulated by the devil and the cohorts of the thief that only come to steal and kill and destroy) behavioral action is sound though it’s not. Those called out of the darkness (Colossians 1:13; 1Pe 2:9) to BE light in every dark place (Matthew 5:14-16; Acts 13:47; Romans 13:12; 1Thess 5:5-6; 2Pe 1:19), take heed so as not to stumble more than self (Philippians 1:10 [AMP]; 1Jn 2:9). 

When Abram was 99 years old and his wife Sarai was 90 years old, they had no children. YHWH (with vowels inserted YAWEH, transliterated JEHOVAH, and interpreted the LORD) changed Abram’s name to Abraham which proclaimed him to BE “father of many nations” Genesis 17:5. Abraham didn’t keep his name change under-wrap or on the down-low; all would come to know Abraham by his new name. The LORD also changed Sarai’s name to Sarah which proclaimed her to BE “the mother of nations” Genesis 17:15-16. Apparently, Sarah’s laugh inside the tent lacked confidence because “¹³ the LORD said to Abraham: ‘Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child now that I am old?’  ¹⁴ Is anything too hard for the LORD? . . .” Genesis 18:13-14 (NIV). By reading the WORD there’s a sense that Abraham was well respected wherever he travelled. though it’s likely that a significant number of folk thought to themselves and/or out loud behind closed doors: “this 100-year-old man has lost his mind!” But Abraham is called the father of faith because he believed God period (Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:3,16-24 [AMP]). 

We who believe or trust God aren’t to be concerned about what others who neither trust nor believe God think and/or say about a situation. Rather, sans any need to explain “. . . stand therefore, hold your ground” Ephesians 6:14 (AMP) which doesn’t require incessant talk. For we who walk by faith powered by love (Gal 5:6) are called to exemplify thoughts and speak which calls forth the produce of good fruit. We who are redeemed and re-created/reborn and reconciled unto the Family of God by the Blood with every right & privilege restored as heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ Jesus (Romans 8:17; Galatians 4:7; Ephesians 3:6), are both entitled and encouraged to decree anything in keeping with the will of GOD. Therefore, if that which is spoken by those of the household of God is in keeping with the word and the way of God, we may stand-in-agreement (Matthew 18:19). However, neither the position nor title of another may assure that which self-study via reading, meditating, praying, and quality time with the LORD will do re our own ability to recognize when the word and the way of God is being verbalized. 

• When a politician recently proclaimed in reference to North America that it was not a racist country, that was a decree. Though a significant number of kingdom citizens were quick to criticize, those who had revelation relative to “calling things that be not as though they were” spoke in agreement from wherever they were listening because there is no distance re the spirit realm. 

• When children don’t appear to produce good fruit (Galatians 5:22-23) proclaim the positive over them: “you’re smart; you’re strong; you’re kind, you’re caring”, as opposed to reinforcing the negative: “you’ll never amount to anything; you’re just like your _____”. 

The Living Word advises citizens of God’s Kingdom of Light – those reconciled unto God the Father by the blood of Jesus, to adhere to the always good yet stern promptings of the Holy Spirit who abides within to comfort, counsel or guide, and teach us; He is the Spirit of Truth who relays as He hears of God (John 14:15-17,26 & 16:13). “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God” Romans 8:14 (NLT). Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing also only spoke and did as He heard of God the Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38 & 12:49-50 & 14:10,24b) throughout His walk-in perfect obedience to the will of the Father, and fulfilled His assignment on behalf of all mankind, to the honor and praise and glory of God the Father, for which I’m eternally grateful with thanksgiving in Jesus’ name, Amen.
