Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,
Endeavoring daily to plead the blood of Jesus over the continental United States of America, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Commonwealth, the America Samoa, and sons & daughters of God who are citizens throughout these lands as well as praying to God the Father, in Jesus’ Name, for various aspects of the U.S. Government and its leadership: the Office of the President – Joseph Biden & his family, the Cabinet – Kamala Harris & her family; the Legislative branches: the House of Representatives – Nancy Pelosi & her family, the Senate – Mitch McConnell & his family; the municipal, state, and federal levels of U.S. Justice system and its Supreme Court; U.S. Investigative Branches – the F.B.I, C.I.A., & all the others and its Officers; the seven mountains of the U.S.A. – education, entertainment, business, & all the others; every Branch of the U.S. Armed Forces & the Soldiers thereof: Active, Deployed, Veteran, and Special Opts Forces; every Branch of the U.S. Police Force and the Officers thereof; every Fire Department/Authority/Service and the Firefighters thereof; and more . . . In the very midst of endeavoring to “stand in the gap and make-up the hedge” (Ezekiel 22:30) in prayer for the nation(s), the enemy often whispers these thoughts: “your brothers & sisters (in Christ) aren’t joining in such prayer, and yours alone lack power”. But God’s Word revealed by the Holy Spirit informs us:
- the devil is both a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44)
- Christ Jesus’ redemptive work placed the devil under foot (Ephesians 1:22)
- we are worthy by the Blood (Ephesians 1:4; Romans 5:9; Revelation 1:5-6)
- the prayer of a righteous person is both powerful & effective (James 5:16)
- pray & confess “we” as well as “I” even in repentance (Daniel 9:4-19)
- pray for those who despitefully use and persecute you (Matthew 5:44)
- pray for everyone including those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
- prayer strengthens your own faith (Jude 20)
- the prayer of faith believes and receives (Mark 11:24; John 16:23)
- praying God’s will by God’s Word assures He hears us (1 John 5:14-15)
Speak the promise . . . Harriet
