The Permissive Power of Prayer . . .
“26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgement also, because He is the Son of Man.” John 5:26-27 (NKJV)
In the beginning, the LORD God gave authority over the earth to man, and as the Prophet Isaiah relayed, every word that goes forth out of God’s mouth must accomplish & prosper where sent. The Lord Jesus often referred to Himself as the “Son of Man” which was indicative of the fact that He had legitimate authority to exemplify how man was originally created to have dominion on earth. Prayer permits or allows or gives legitimate authority for God to work His power through us. That is, “them” to whom dominion was originally given of the LORD God. Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing functioned throughout His earthly Ministry as a man with the life of GOD in Him. This very same “life of GOD” is in those redeemed by the spotless blood of Jesus that resulted in a re-created spirit and reconciled us to God the Father with all rights & privileges restored as His sons & daughters. Now, until the Second Coming of Christ, the Ministry of Holy Spirit is on earth as Comforter, Counselor and Teacher to show us how to manifest the fullness of The Blessing by faith and how to effectively use the ministry-of-authority bestowed to all who are in the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. (Genesis 1:26-28; Isaiah 55:11; John 5:27 & 6:27 [also in 21 other chapters of the four gospels]; Luke 7:22)
