Grace . . .
One of my Sisters-in-Christ, Minister Denise D. Campbell recently posted in FB about the grace exemplified via “aggressive forgiveness” as per The Message Bible [MSG] version of Romans 5:20-21). My response to her reiteration of this particular specific Word of God was an emphatic “YES!” For it is surely the grace of my ever faithful and patient Abba Father by Whose Spirit – the Spirit of Truth – the Holy Spirit, my Comforter, Counselor and Teacher with Whom I’m sealed by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus (2Co 1:22; Ephesians 4:30; Gal 3:14b), that I increasingly learn of the benefits of grace. That is, the good fruit (Galatians 5:22-23) produced of grace. Therefore, though the devil sends postcards to remind exactly who did me wrong and when and where and how I should’ve or could’ve retaliated, I’m empowered and/or enabled to say “that’s not my thought”, and cast such down immediately in Jesus’ Name. Perhaps needless to say, such neither requires remaining in the presence of physical or emotional abuse nor being supportive of anyone’s (regardless of title or position or relationship) ungodly behavior. The Lord Jesus took all devil manipulative behavior upon Himself, and paid for our justification, peace, etcetera with His spotless blood. All to the glory and praise of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
