Saul set his face like flint traveling to Damascus to persecute followers of Christ Jesus BUT he was fully converted on Straight Street with a reborn spirit and the new  name of Paul (read Acts 9:1-15 & 22:14-21).  

GOD is LOVE. Why persecute the only begotten Son of LOVE who is JESUS? “.  . . It is dangerous and it will turn out badly for you to keep kicking against the goad [to offer vain and perilous resistance]” Acts 9:5 (AMPC).  

Jesus is The Rock – a firm foundation; build the house of your spirit on solid ground (read 1Jn 4:8b,16b; Luke 6:46-49).
