Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

Humans are comprised of a spirit which lives in a body and has a soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion). Physical death is the separation of spirit and soul from the body whereas spiritual death is the separation of the spirit and soul from YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD). The spiritual death of all humankind resulted from the first Adam’s transgression by his free-will decision to act contrary to the advice of God (read Genesis 2:15-17 & 3:1-6). Therefore, all humankind is born into sin. Yet God’s grace ensued, and Scripture relays that the LORD, God swore by Himself.

  • When people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind.  So God has given us both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can take new courage, for we can hold on to his promise with confidence.  This confidence is like a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain of heaven into God’s inner sanctuary.  Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.Hebrews 6:16-20 (NLT)

The mystery of God’s plan to reconcile mankind unto Himself was revealed in the gift of His only begotten Son – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing who walked in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind. By faith, salvation is of redemption which manifest a reborn spirit necessary for reconciliation because no aspect of sin survives in God’s presence. Further, neither individual nor group nor nation is ever qualified by their own merit or good works (to paraphrase another, “even if born in a sterile room that was never exited”) because all are born with a sin nature due to the transgression of the first Adam.

  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not by works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
  • Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.Titus 3:5-7

The Truth is that redemption and recreation for reconciliation and the restoration of all rights and privileges bestowed sons & daughters of God was bought and brought by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus – the New Covenant, ratified by the blood of Jesus, between the LORD God and mankind.

  • For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 6:23
  • “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.Romans 8:1-2
  • Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us . . . . That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.Galatians 3:13-14

However, though the spirit is instantaneously born anew, the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) must be continually renewed in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Consequently, the redeemed may have peace in the knowledge of eternal life with God the Father and the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit in the heavenly realm for eternity, yet a significant number may be remiss as partakers of The Blessing of Abraham and the fullness thereof by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus to establish God’s covenant on this side of Heaven for lack of transformation via ongoing renewing of the mind in the Word of God. In other words, comprehension of God’s Word for its application to manifest The Blessing is relative to transformation of the soul by (ongoing) renewal in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. For humankind is trained from a young age in the way of the world which is antithetical to the way of the LORD God.

  • Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.Romans 2:2 (NLT)

That God has said, “My grace is sufficient” (2 Corinthians 12:9) bespeaks the inherit ability by the mighty power of God within us in the person of the Holy Spirit whose Ministry returned to earth after the Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord Jesus the Christ.

  • For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

All honor and praise and glory to the Sovereign Lord God Almighty – Abba Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
