Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
All the promises of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) gifted by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus and powered through the Ministry of the Holy Spirit are made manifest by faith. Yet a significant number of Believers never enter God’s rest due to unbelief.
- “Now the promise of entering into God’s rest is still for us today. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise . . .” Hebrews 4:1-3 (TPT)
For example, the protection bestowed by the blood of Jesus is not automatic because our own faith manifest God’s promises by faith (belief); and as we “fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12) we are victorious. Though the works of God which include His promises were finished from the foundation of the world, these cannot be attained with doubt (unbelief). Hence, unbelievers died outside of the promised land because of the ten (out of twelve people) who preached an evil report (Numbers 13:27-29). Caleb, however, was quick to refute their evil report and eventually entered because he believed the LORD God as did Joshua. For Caleb and Joshua never spoke the problem; they spoke the promise.
Present day Truth is that with JESUS/YESHUA, as succinctly stated by another: a problem becomes an opportunity (see footnote #1). For nothing is impossible for the Omnipotent and Omniscient and Omnipresent Sovereign Lord God Almighty. The Lord Jesus never spoke the problem; He only did and spoke the Word of His Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38 & 12:49-50 & 14:10,24); and the elect/the called-out ones are to speak just like the Lord Jesus spoke. Howbeit, people who operate based on faith and people (including “religious” people) who operate based on fear are unable to agree. Hence, when the Lord Jesus gave His first sermon the listeners or congregation became so irate that they tried to kill Him (Luke 4:16-29) but it wasn’t yet the set time when the life of the Holy Seed of God was to be sown for the harvest of more sons & daughters of God.
To labor in the Word of God involves reading, studying, meditating, and confessing God’s Word that further develops the “measure of faith” gifted at the onset of salvation enabling steadfastness thereupon regardless of the tricks of the father of lies (John 8:44). God’s promises as well as the Lord Jesus are from the foundation of the world (John 17:24); it’s already done! To reiterate that relayed in CKMusing488, the manifestations thereof only require belief (faith) that God is reliable (sure), trustworthy, and faithful (true) to His Word (Hebrews 10:23 & 11:11). Faith undergirded by its power twin – patience, stands firm through manifestation (Luke 8:15; Hebrews 6:12-20 & 10:36; James 1:3-4). Faith boldly affirms: “God said it, it’s true unto me by the Blood; so be it!” Doubt is a cohort of the thief who whispers: “those promises don’t pertain to you, you can’t do it, you’re not worthy”. As further discussed in my second book (see footnote #2), the devil will send reminders of past behavior for the sole purpose of condemnation. However, by the Blood it’s true unto us – those reconciled by the blood of Jesus unto the Family of God, according to Isaiah 43:25 & Romans 8:1-2. The Blood made us worthy, not because of anything we have done (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:20). There is absolutely nothing that Abba Father withholds; Rather, the Word relays that He desires or takes pleasure in giving kingdom citizens the things of God’s Kingdom of Light (Luke 12:32; Matthew 6:33).
The bottom line is, just as redemption, re-creation, and reconciliation is by faith in God’s only begotten Son (Romans 10:9-13), so too are the promises made manifest by faith operated by divine love (Galatians 5:6). Even Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing had to exercise faith; not because of His own physical death – the separation of the spirit and soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) from the body after which was His Resurrection and Ascension; But because of spiritual death – separation from the LORD God. For Jesus had never been separated from God the Father. Nevertheless, the Lord Jesus set His face like flint and walked in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all humankind. That we might (free-will) choose abundant life in The Blessing of Abraham and the fullness thereof by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, made manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit; Further delineated as “power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing” Revelation 5:12 (KJV).
