Decisions Sans Revelation Knowledge . . . .
Oh! the desperate plight of humans before the only Mediator (between the LORD God and humankind) – Jesus the Christ was sent for the redemption and re-creation that enabled the reconciliation of all humankind to God the Father as sons and daughters. I’m grateful that I had parents who believed and confessed the Lord Jesus and introduced me to Christ at an early age. By faith I chose to be washed by the blood of Jesus; Thereby entitled to The Blessing of Abraham (i.e., material) and the fullness thereof (i.e., material, spiritual) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. A few years ago, I was a dinner guest when a parent seated across the table from me stated: “I want my child to make-up their own mind about whether to believe in God”. Although the parent is a Believer, only a dearth of revelation knowledge would lead a Believer to make such an ill-formed decision. More specifically, neither comprehension nor application of Romans 12:2.
Oh! what a desperate mistake to bequeath a child! How can an informed decision be made sans even a basic awareness of God via introduction? For Adam’s treasonous act rendered this world full of every evil thing under the Sun; various ungodly aspects which include hate, lying, and an ever-increasing lack of sensibility re decency displayed in every level of society. This world is no place to be sans the reality of redemption and its umbrella of protection; it’s no place to be without the LORD God. The Word of God relays that Romans 12:2 is a necessity for every Believer. For though the spirit of those “in Christ” has been rendered perfect by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) requires ongoing or continual renewal in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit (detailed further in my 2nd book).1
