God’s WORD Never Empty . . .
Yesterday, the Scripture that caught my eye (so to speak) was: “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy” Proverbs 13:12 (NLT). For those of us in the midst of “going through” to the other side, further clarification isn’t necessary. So too should be the verse thereafter: “Whoever despises the word and counsel [of God] brings destruction upon himself, But he who [reverently] fears and respects the commandment [of God] will be rewarded” Proverbs 13:13 (AMP). This verse makes it clear that s/he who remains steadfast on the WORD of God will manifest the good fruit thereof because whatsoever God has spoken never returns empty (Isaiah 55:11). GOD NEVER TALKS SMACK. Rather God speaks life; and we who were created in His image, in His likeness, with His character are speaking spirits. Therefore, we are to speak the good desired. Those redeemed, having received a re-created spirit, and thereby reconciled unto God the Father by the blood of Jesus the Anointed One, are expected to speak that which manifest for the glory of God.
Several months ago, when the things which I inadvertently spoke over myself (before the continual renewal of the mind via revelation of the information in the WORD by the power of the Holy Spirit) began to manifest and anxiety, doubt and fear attempted to set-up house (so to speak), this is what I heard (in the spirit) very clearly: “YOU JUST STAY IN THE WORD”. Of such is the faith which brings the peace that transcends all understanding; for it is by the grace of God the Father and the finished work of Christ Jesus, that I have covenant favor. “My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips” Psalm 89:34 (NKJV). “He has given food to those who fear Him [with an awe-inspired reverence]; He will remember His covenant forever” Psalms 111:5 (AMP). Notice use of the past tense “given”; it’s already done! Hence, we cast down every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God immediately (don’t allow it for a nanosecond) with authority in the Name above all names – JESUS.
