Confidant prayer is to know that the LORD God has heard what we ask in keeping with His Word (1 John 5:14-16). The ways by which we may know that the LORD God has heard us is to:

  • pray the Word of God in our natural language.
  • pray in the Spirit (Eph 6:18; Jude 1:20).

According to the Word of God, we may know that prayer in the Spirit is exact because the Holy Spirit knows our specific need (Romans 8:26). For all mankind were created in the image of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD). Therefore, as the DNA of the LORD God is on and in us, He knows us far better than we may ever know ourselves on this side of Heaven; such necessarily means that He knows every weakness. The enemy who only comes to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:10a) also knows about the weaknesses by sin which entered the earth by the first Adam’s free-will decision to act contrary to the advice of the LORD (Genesis 2:15-17 & 3:1-7) which the enemy uses to tempt away from the always good things of God; the fallen angel – satan doesn’t know our thoughts but actively seeks to plant insurrectionary thoughts. The Omnipresent and Omnipotent and Omniscient Sovereign Lord God Almighty is LOVE, Who always takes pleasure in the strengthening and development of His sons & daughters as we utilize free-will to welcome Him into every aspect of our life. From the onset of the thief’s trickery of Eve, in which the first Adam participated, satan never allows free-will. Ah, BUT GOD! The LORD God sent His Holy Seed – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing, Who agreed to the mystery of LORD God’s plan and walked in perfect obedience to God’s will on behalf of all mankind which re-aligned us with ELOHIM – our Creator. Therefore, all “in Christ” have a re-created or reborn or regenerated spirit which facilitated the ability to be reconciled unto the LORD God as sons & daughters by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. For our right standing with the LORD God has nothing to do with any good works that we ourselves do (Ephesians 2:8-9); it is all by the sinless, spotless blood of Jesus. Glory to God! However, the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) requires ongoing renewal of the mind in the way of the LORD by God’s Word through the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is the Anointing upon and within every person “in Christ”; He is the present-day Comforter and Counselor and Teacher (John 14:16,17,26 & 16:13); He reminds us all things JESUS Who came to show us how we were created to live with dominion and the Ministry-of-Authority (see Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18). Hallelujah! Therefore, when praying in my natural language, I pray God’s Word, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name.

“I thank You, LORD God that by the blood of Jesus, the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, the finished work of Christ Jesus, it is true unto me according to Your Word. Therefore, it is true unto me according to 2 Corinthians 9:8,10,11: “8 And God is able, to make all grace (every favor and earthly BLESSING) come to me in abundance, so that I may always, under all circumstances, whatever the need be, self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation] . . . . 10And God Who ministers seed for the sower, both ministers bread for my food, multiplies my seed sown and enlarges the harvest of my righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and love].  11 And I am enriched in all things and in every way so that I may be generous on every occasion; and in so doing my generosity will result in an overflow of thanksgiving to Abba Father.2 Corinthians 9:8,10,11 (AMP, KJV, NIV [combined and personalized]),

May the love and peace of JEHOVAH SHALOM which passes all understanding, guide your spirit and soul now and forevermore, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
