“It Is Finished” (John 19:30) . . .
Faith is action oriented and gives voice to God’s Word. In other words, faith moves on the promises of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) requiring discernment as to the will of the LORD God for the lives of all mankind as delineated in His Word. By reading, studying, muttering, and meditating God’s Word is revelation of the information therein attained through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit enabling discernment. When humans act contrary to the way of the LORD God in Whose image we were created (Genesis 1:26-27 & 5:1-2), whether inadvertently or not, a significant number tend to blame the LORD God for the outcome of one’s own decision. The thought may also be that the consequences of one’s free-will decisions are short-lived, but such sets a series of events into motion long thereafter.
Initially man’s creation didn’t involve death, yet because of the first Adam’s free-will decision to act contrary to the advice of the LORD God (Genesis 2:16-17 & 3:1-6), he had to learn how to die as evidenced by the number of years lived until physical death: Adam – 930 years, Seth – 912 years, Enosh – 905 years, Kenan – 910 years, Mahalalel – 895 years, Jared – 962 years, Methuselah – 969 years, Lamech – 777 years, Noah – 950 years (see Genesis 5:3-28 & Genesis 9:28). Now, Genesis 6:3 delineates the fact that the LORD God has given mankind 120 years. By the first Adam’s disobedience, all mankind were born from life-to-death without choice whereas the last Adam’s-YESHUA’s/JESUS’ perfect obedience to the will of God on behalf of all mankind solidified the choice to be reborn from death-to-life by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus:
“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believe and trust in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.” John 5:24 (AMP)
Now, the outpouring of the LORD God (every gift of Abba Father bestowed) by the finished work of Christ Jesus and made manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit is by faith operated by love. Therefore, as I “take by faith”, I endeavor to consistently thank the LORD God, in Jesus’ Name: For abundant life (John 10:10b). For The Blessing of Abraham (all material blessings) and the fullness thereof (all spiritual blessings and authority) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. For the return of the Holy Spirit’s Ministry on earth. For the fact that by the blood of Jesus – the redemptive work of Christ Jesus – the finished work of Christ Jesus, it is true unto me according to God’s Word, e.g., Isaiah 53:5; 1Pe 2:24; 2Co 9:8,10,11; 1Pe 1:4, etcetera; and such wholeheartedly includes the aspect of eternal life: “Thank You, Abba Father for life with You, my Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in the heavenly realm for eternity.” Amen.
