Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.” 1 John 3:22 (AMP)

It is by God’s mighty power within each of us that we are strengthened with all the endurance and perseverance necessary with joy (Colossians 1:11). We are enabled to rejoice in the LORD and let our gentleness be evident to all because by the blood of Jesus we received the Spirit of God (Philippians 4:4-5; Galatians 3:14). It is God’s mighty power, that same incomparably great power “exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to comeEphesians 1:19-21 (NIV), by which we aren’t obligated to be controlled by the sinful nature which can’t please GOD (Romans 8:8-9). Yes, the thief tempts but we aren’t obligated to oblige him because those upon whom the Blood was applied are enabled to follow God’s plan by His power.

Love Who is God the Father sent Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing, that we might (free-will) be reconciled unto Him through Christ; and the “extravagant dimensions” of Christ Jesus’ love set His face like flint to walk in perfect obedience to the will of Abba Father. Subsequently, God the Father “. . . put all things under (Yeshua’s/Jesus’) feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], [Psalm 8:6]  Which is His body . . .Ephesians 1:22-23 (AMP). The Church is neither edifice/building nor denomination but the Body of Christ; those upon whom the blood is applied are Christ Jesus’ body and He is the head; those “in Him” have a part of His anointing which empowers us to practice what is pleasing to GOD. The “which” in the KJV translation of Philippians 4:13 is in reference to Christ Jesus’ anointing; hence in personalizing a combined KJV & AMP version of this Scripture, the Blood allows us to affirm or confess: “I can do all things through Christ Jesus’ anointing which empowers me. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Christ Jesus’ anointing which empowers me. I am self-sufficient in Christ Jesus’ sufficiency.”

We speak in the way of the Lord Jesus Who spoke and did only as He heard of God the Father (John 5:19; 8:26b,28, 38; 12:49-50; 14:10). The fiery darts of the thief are aimed at pressuring those created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) into speaking contrary to the Word of God but faith which is operated or powered by love, is mindful about speaking and doing in the way of He Who is “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDSRevelation 19:16. According to John 6:44, John 14:6 and Colossians 1:13, Abba Father draws and attracts to His only begotten Son through Whose Blood we are redeemed, reborn or re-created and reconciled unto the Family of GOD . To be heirs of God the Father and co-heirs with Christ Jesus (Romans 8:17) means that every right & privilege forfeited by the treason of the first Adam have been restored by the finished work of the last Adam Who is the Lord Jesus . . . it’s already done.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
