Beginning in 2006, at the onset of my Musings and Reflections on the Word of God, I was concerned because I received these a few days before Worship Service at Church during which the message preached was essentially the same. Before I began numbering my musings, I would pre-date these for the upcoming or next week though sent via email earlier than the date printed thereon. Eventually, a Pastor asked in a somewhat exasperated tone: “Is this supposed to be some kind writing from the future?” My rationale for doing so was two-fold: 1. Prevent those who were receiving the emailed messages from using such as an excuse to forsake the assembly; and 2. Get the message out beforehand as evidence that I hadn’t simply copied the preached sermon (for which purpose I also hand-delivered a copy to the Pastor at the end of each Worship Service). Eventually, after some length of time, I expressed to Pastor my concern about the messages in my writings essentially the same as his sermons; to which he calmly replied: “The Holy Spirit relays the same thing (message) to everyone.” For example, the Apostle Peter said, “. . . we are saved through grace (the undeserved favor and mercy) of the Lord Jesus . . . .Acts 15:11 (AMPC). Likewise, the Apostle Paul said, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV). Yet neither the Apostle Peter nor the Apostle Paul were simultaneously in the same sphere of learning and preaching the Gospel of JESUS.

By the Word of God we (may) know that Paul wasn’t of the original Apostles who walked with the Lord Jesus daily during His Ministry on earth, and that the original twelve Apostles were chosen directly by the Lord Jesus. And by God’s Word we (may) also know that Saul, who fought vehemently against the Body of Christ/the church before his conversion on Straight Street (Acts 9:11) whereof his name changed to Paul, was the only other Apostle chosen directly by the Lord Jesus. Furthermore, in his letter to the saints re the churches at Galatia, the Apostle Paul emphasized that his teaching wasn’t information received of man but “received by revelation from Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:12-17). For there is a distinct difference between information in God’s Word and revelation wisdom thereof. Though the Holy Spirit reveals the same message, a significant number of sons and daughters of the LORD God by the blood of Jesus lack discernment concerning the things of God relayed in the Word of God. For discernment is facilitated by far more than information; it’s facilitated by revelation wisdom. That is, revelation of the information in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Revelation wisdom helps us with comprehension for application. As it is written,

  • The Wisdom [godly Wisdom, which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] of the prudent is to understand his way . . .” Proverb 14:8 (AMPC)

Such pertains to and/or bespeaks the necessity for ongoing or continual transformation of the soul (intellect, will, emotions) in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit as relayed in Romans 12:2 after the all-redeeming, re-creating, reconciling, all-restoring blood of Jesus.
