The sin nature into which all mankind is born due to the transgression of the first Adam resulted in spiritual death which is the separation between the LORD God and mankind because sin is unable to survive in the presence of God. However, the redemptive work of Christ Jesus obliterated sin, thereby enabling the rebirth that allows all who believe and confess the Lord Jesus to be reconciled unto God the Father.

• “. . . listen to this eternal truth: Before a person can even perceive God’s kingdom, they must first experience a rebirth.” John 3:3 (TPT)

The spirit is eternal; Yet where a spirit resides for eternity is determined by one’s own (free-will) decision whether to accept God’s gift of life through the spotless, sinless blood of Jesus which bought and brought salvation that precedes rebirth.

• “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

• “For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

The Old Testament, which is the New Testament concealed, spoke about rebirth through the Prophet Ezekiel; and the New Testament, which is the Old Testament revealed, spoke about rebirth through Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing:

• “. . . I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be cleaned from all your uncleanliness; and from all your idols will I cleanse you. A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statues, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them.” Ezekiel 36:25-27 (AMPC)

• “. . . unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. [Ezek. 36:25-27.] What is born of [from] the flesh is flesh [of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5-6 (AMPC)
