YESHUA/JESUS asked: “Who do you think I am? Simon Peter answered, ‘The Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus said, ‘God has blessed you, Simon, son of Jonah, for my Father in heaven has personally revealed this to you—this is not from any human source.Matthew 16:15-17 (TLB [bold mine])

Apostle Paul wrote: “but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”  2Ti 1:10 (NIV [bold mine])

YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) said to me: “prayer is important” and Ephesians 6:18 tells us to “pray all kinds of prayers”. To pray is to ask the LORD God; and the amplified version of Philippians 4:6 refers to prayer as a petition(s) or definite request(s). The Omnipresent and Omniscient and Omnipotent LORD requires no assistance from us to fulfill our prayer, just permission to intervene because God gave dominion over the earth to humankind (refer to Genesis 1:26-28). Though the first Adam turned-over his dominion to fallen Lucifer (refer to Isaiah 14:12-15; Luke 10:16), the last Adam – Christ Jesus “now has the keys of hell and death” Revelation 1:18. Therefore, the fallen Lucifer has absolutely no authority over those rendered sons & daughters of the LORD God by the blood of Jesus, unless we allow it by speaking and/or doing contrary to the way of the LORD God (whether inadvertently or not). Although sin which precipitated the three-fold curse of poverty and sickness and eternal death that entered earth by the first Adam’s disobedience (refer to Genesis 2:15-17 & 3:1-6) was obliterated by the sinless blood of Jesus, the fallen Lucifer is far cleverer than the reborn who are slack about “face time” or relationship with the LORD God through Christ Jesus as well as quality time in God’s Word. For example, recently I read a social media post whereby it appears that the fallen Lucifer and his cohorts has literally persuaded a son of God against speaking the word “bless”; and who seemingly is attempting to persuade others to follow suit. Unfortunately, fallen Lucifer is crafty enough to convince a significant number who are “heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ” (refer to Romans 8:17) to relinquish or otherwise forfeit their inheritance bestowed by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. Nevertheless, those reconciled by the blood of Jesus unto the Family of God may pray for wisdom and revelation in various ways, of which one is by personalizing the Word of God relayed in Ephesians 1:17-23; my personal preference is a combination of the NIV & AMP versions of this specific prayer 1  relayed to the Apostle Paul through the Holy Spirit.

The Old Testament/Old Covenant relays that the Holy Spirit was given to the select who were hand-picked by God. For example, Pharoah discerned that Joseph was “filled with the Spirit of God” (refer to Genesis 41:38); the select included the true Prophets of God who steadfastly relayed the way of the LORD God as opposed to the popular way of the world. The New Testament/New Covenant relays that the Holy Spirit is given to the elect who believe and confess YESHUA/JESUS (refer to Romans 10:9-10); the elect are citizens of God’s Kingdom on this side of Heaven within whom the Spirit of God dwells or lives within. For by the blood of Jesus, the Spirit is the power by which a human’s spirit is re-created or regenerated or reborn in an instant (refer to John 3:5-6; 1Co 6:17,19; 2Co 5:5; Ephesians 1:13-14,19 & 4:29-30) whereas a human’s soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) requires ongoing or continual transformation in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit (refer to Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:23).

Wisdom and revelation of the information in the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit, Whose Ministry returned to earth upon the Ascension of Christ Jesus, empowers the elect to fulfill each God-given assignment to establish God’s covenant throughout the earth for the benefit of self and others. For the grace of the LORD God has provided, through the finished work of Christ Jesus and made manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit, whatsoever is needful to accomplish that for which we are sent (refer to 2Co 9:8,10,11; 1Pe 1:4; Rev 5:12; Phi 4:13; Rom 5:17). Therefore, the various daily requests I pray or ask Abba Father, in Jesus’ Name, include manifestation of The Blessing of Abraham (all material blessings) and the fullness thereof (all spiritual blessings, authority) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. Additionally, such typically includes a specific request regarding wisdom & revelation for: myself; leaders within the U.S.A. and its territories and the citizens thereof; those who serve to protect it; etcetera (refer to 1 Timothy 2:1-2). For during this latter rain, anyone may access the Word of God but not everyone is able to acquire the comprehension that facilitates application. Hence, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving . . .Isaiah 6:9 (NIV) and the Lord Jesus reiterated, For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.Matthew 13:15 (NIV)
