Prayer is asking YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) the compassionate God to help, and He always will because the goodness of the LORD God never changes; neither when He came in Human form (John 1:1-5, 10-14).

  • He who is the glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a man, that he should change his mind.1 Samuel 15:29 (NIV)
  • Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, and to day, and for ever.Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)

The further developed one’s personal relationship with the LORD God through Christ Jesus and study of God’s Word for revelation of the information therein through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit, enables the ability to recognize the still small voice of LOVE Who always desires to help us. However, acceptance of God’s guidance via His instructions or commandments or directions remains a free-will decision.

  • . . . I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live And may love the LORD your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him. . . .Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (AMPC)

To hear God’s voice and cling to Him requires faith because the things of God including salvation are by faith; and confessing the Word of God as well as praying God’s Word helps development of the measure of faith bestowed to those reconciled unto the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. Faith exemplifies trust in God Who never rescinds that which He has bestowed. Yet the choice to receive God’s gifts is self-determined. Revelation will dismantle “spiritual air castles” of which one is that the LORD God is running the world whereas Genesis 1:26-29 delineates that God gave humankind dominion over the earth.

Therefore, as  John Wesley stated: “God is limited by our prayer life—that He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him.” For Isaiah 55:11 relays the Truth that every word proceeding from the mouth of God must accomplish and prosper that for which it is sent. One day, nearing completion of my daily confessions, the LORD God said to me through the Holy Spirit: “Prayer is important.” Straightway I entered prayer and thereafter compiled some personal prayers resulting in the publication of Sowing The Seed of Prayer.1  As relayed therein K.E. Hagin delineates the various types and/or categories of prayers in The Art Of Prayer.2 One of a myriad of prayers is the Prayer of Agreement that asks another person in the body of Christ to agree thereof. The Lord Jesus said,

  • Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by my Father in heaven.Matthew 18:19 (AMP)

The assumption is prayer in keeping with God’s Word as relayed in 1 John 5:14-15. Nevertheless, there is a “tell” re their willingness and promptness in response. Yet neither be surprised nor discouraged because such a “tell” redirects to a more effectiveness participant who has comprehension of God’s Word for its application. As Samuel, the last Judge (after the people rejected the LORD as King in asking for a man to be king) said,

  • . . . far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.1 Samuel 12:23 (NIV)

Smith Wigglesworth stated: “There is a difference between language and faith. . . . . There is a difference between our faith and the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. . . . . Your faith may get to a place where it wavers. The faith of Christ never wavers. When you have that faith the thing is finished. . . . The gift of faith always knows the results.” And upon arriving to help another in the body of Christ, Wigglesworth quite simply explained: “If we agree together it is done.” To which she said, “I will agree”.3

In addition to my own ministry – https://www.cross-key.com, I partner with three other ministries from which are received monthly letters. Bill Winston wrote about the fact that God never forgets a seed; and that in keeping with Isaiah 43:26, we may put God in remembrance. Hence, “First, decide what you want. Second, claim it by faith, according to Mark 11:24. Then get someone to agree with you that you have it. Fourth, bind the devil and loose Angels. Then, Praise (God).”  According to 1 Peter 1:4, those “in Christ” have a heavenly account; the harvest of seed (not limited to financial) already sown awaits our own withdrawal. Hallelujah!
