20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, 21. Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and do what He had promised.Romans 4:20-21 (AMP)

Notice that this Scripture describes his faith as developed or strengthened, such as it empowered him to give praise and glory to GOD regardless of what the situation appeared to be in the natural. That is, keeping God at the forefront of his thoughts and mouth; he had confidence (faith) that God was able to do what He said He would do. Doubt and fear are cohorts of the enemy sent to entice Believers into changing their confession. To speak contrary to what God says, allows the enemy entrance where he has absolutely no right in any aspect of the lives of those redeemed, re-created, and reconciled unto the Family of God by the blood of Jesus (Luke 10:19).

Therefore, when you’ve done all that you know to do (at that particular point in time), and are engaging faith’s under-girding power twin which is patience, take great care so as not to be tricked into negative speak. Rather, just exalt GOD right where you are; praise Him; give all honor and glory to God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ name. And, if in an appropriate place, Shabach that worship!
Shabach – to shout loudly or command. Psalm 47:1 (Not simply being loud. Its focus is to worship the LORD with one’s whole being. To worship like David did with unabashed joy (2 Samuel 6:14).

  • God is Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent.
  • God is interested in every single area of your life.
  • God’s ability and power can get you over.
  • God has great pleasure in giving you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
  • Nothing is impossible for God. (Luke 1:37 & 18:27; Matthew 19:26)
  • God is able.

Faith comes from hearing the message of the Living Word who is Christ Jesus (Romans 10:17). The word of faith must be in your mouth as well as seeded in your heart (spirit). Faith, operated by divine love and undergirded by its power twin – patience, is action oriented producing the desired result. You provide the faith and God provides the power. In putting on the whole armor of God daily, you “take up the shield of faithEphesians 6:16 (NIV); you do it and God will help you to the very same over-and-above degree that He helps all who seek His face (Luke 11:9-10; Romans 10:12-13; Hebrews 11:6).

“I am a believer. I’m not a doubter. God’s Word works for me.”
