Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;  22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,  23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;  24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;  25 whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;  26 to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26 (WEB)

Our righteousness and/or justification and/or holiness is of Sanctification by the grace of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) through YESHUA/JESUS – the WORD made flesh. For whosoever or whatsoever is unrighteous or unholy can neither approach nor survive in the midst of the holiness of JEHOVAH MEKADDISHKHEM or YAHWEH MEKODDISHKEM  – The Sanctifier. The Sanctification by which we are called saints (set apart ones) is by the redemptive work of Christ as opposed to anything that we ourselves have done. The fact that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” is a matter of birth due to the first Adam’s use of free-will, contrary to the clear advice of the LORD God, that separated mankind from God and allowed sin to enter earth (and everything thereof). Therefore, neither is salvation by anything thereof nor of our own “good” deeds. Only through the spotless blood of the only begotten Son of God – the Holy Seed received through faith that believed in God AND believed God as exemplified by her response, “. . . be it unto me according to Word of God”. The WORD became flesh and, on behalf of all mankind, He walked in perfect obedience to the will of God; the Holy Seed sown for the harvest of more sons & daughters of the LORD God. Hence, we sing:

Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

(and/or)

What has washed away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What has made me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

It is through faith that all who repent, believe and confess the Lord Jesus are redeemed and have an (instantaneously) re-created or reborn spirit that allows us to be reconciled with the LORD God with all rights & privileges as sons & daughters fully restored. Through faith in Christ Jesus we are partakers this New Testament/New Covenant ratified by the blood of Jesus; set apart to BE light as the Lord Jesus exemplified by only speaking and doing as He heard of the Father. More specifically, we are to BE imitators of Christ Jesus who imitated His Father as opposed to being imitators in the way of the world. Therefore, the set apart neither “go along” with excusing sinful behavior nor are drawn or manipulated into strife by its perpetrator – the adversary. The Lord Jesus led by example, and spoke the desired results. For the only true Judge and Lawgiver is the LORD God who qualified us by the Blood to be bearers of good fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Such necessarily involves the ability to recognize the opposite of good fruit so as not to be fooled; and we are helped by the ongoing or continual renewal of the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) in the Word of God by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit – our Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, and Sword who reminds us of all things YESHUA/JESUS.
